Review My Kisses

Nick was pretty wild, especially after he turned 21. He would party late at night, sleep during the day, and then work. After that he would do it all again. He went out with a different girl almost every night, and nobody could tie him down. He couldn’t find anybody that would hold is attention long enough.
They were all the same. They all tried to be whatever he wanted them to be. They tried to be what they thought a superstar’s girlfriend should be. They all tried to get something from him. Every time he found a new girl, they would do that, and it pushed him away.
Until he met her.
It was a stormy night and it was pouring rain. He was trying to leave a club with one of his friends and they were all parallel parked.
“Fucking rain.” Nick bitched as he walked out of the club with one of his friends who waved goodbye to him. He walked up to the side of the curb and got into his car, watching the rain pour down his windshield. He shook the water off of the top of his head and cranked up his car, turning his windshield wipers on.
Then he realized he couldn’t get out. He looked behind him to see the car was right up to his bumper and the owner wasn’t in site. He turned his head back around to see the owner of the car that was directly in front of him going to her car to grab something out of the backseat.
He blew down on the horn, trying to get her attention and she looked back at him. Finally he opened up his door and stood up out of it, and yelled at her.
“Hey! Will you move your car up so I can get out??”
“I can’t!”, she yelled back, “I lost my fucking keys.”
“Well go put it in drive and I’ll push it up!”
“I don’t have my FUCKING KEYS!” she yelled back at him. She looked at him and he looked at her, and then she went back to searching her back seat.
“Well call some fucking body. I’m ready to leave!” Nick yelled back at her as she stood back up, looking at him.
“I don’t have a fucking phone!”, she screamed back at him as he rolled his eyes, walking over to her and handed her his cell phone, “What?”
“Call some fucking body to come move this piece of shit.”
“This piece of shit is my fucking car!”, she yelled back at him as Nick looked down to see that he was becoming soak and wet, and then realized he just locked his keys in his car.
“OH FUCK!” Nick screamed as he ran back over to his car, and tried to open the door but couldn’t, “Fuck!”
“Smart move dumb fuck.”, she said back to him as she started to dial a number on his cell phone. He rolled his eyes at her and looked away hearing her talk on the phone, “Yeah, I’m standing here in Ybor, on 15th street and I need someone to tow my car back to my house. My name? Lacey. Yeah and this guy, he locked his keys in his car too. His name?”, and then she looked over at him, “What’s your name?”
“My name?”
“You do have one? That thing your mama called you at birth?”
“Nick Carter.”
“Nick Carter, yeah -” Lacey said as she looked back over at him, giving him an evil eye. He gave her a dirty look back, “Alright, we’ll be waiting. Don’t take all fucking night either.” And she turned his cell phone off, hanging it back to him, “There.”
“You don’t know who I am?”
“Nick Carter.”
“You don’t recognize me?”
“It’s dark out here. I can’t see shit and to tell you the truth I could give a fuck less who you are because I’m cold and I’m soak and wet right now.” Lacey said as she crossed her arms, standing in the rain, “Fuck.”
“They won’t be here anytime soon. We might as well go back in.”
“Not like it’ll do us any good. We’re soaked.”
“Atleast we’ll be warm.” Nick said as he started to walk back over to the club and motioned for her to follow him, “Come on.”
“Fine.” Lacey said, as she shook her head, trying to get the excess water out of it and followed him into the bar.
Then they sat there for a while, talking and trying to stay warm. He told her what he did for a living and she didn’t care. She actually laughed at him at first because she didn’t believe him. She told him about herself, and they started to realize that they had a lot in common.
Finally they walked back outside to see the locksmith and the tow truck pull up. They both looked at each other, apologizing for what happened earlier, and Nick asked for her number. She didn’t want to give it to him at first, and then finally she did, telling him when to call since she had class a lot, and was never in her dorm room.
So he finally met a girl that wasn’t trying to be something that she wasn’t. She wasn’t fake. She wasn’t superficial. She was just herself and he liked it. He liked that she didn’t give a shit who he was and bitched at him like a normal person. Plus she was kind of cute.
The next afternoon, he called her and asked her out on a date. She told him no at first until he talked her into it and finally she said yes. So that next night, they went out to eat, and talked some more, getting to know one another. They instantly hit it off with one another, and within two weeks time, they were spending the night with one another.
Then they start to fall in love with one another - but then reality kicked back in and he had to go back on tour, leaving her there alone again while he traveled off with his four best friends performing in front of thousands and thousands of women and girls a night. It scared her a little because she was afraid that he would meet someone else while he was away from her, and forget all about her.
But she wasn’t going to let him do that very easily. He’d been on tour for the past five months and she’d only seen him once, and when she did, it was only for a few hours when they did a show there in Tampa. After the show, he left to go to another town and she hadn’t seen him since. But now he was coming home, and she was going to remind him.
It was the perfect evening, almost. It was almost like the night they met. It was cold and rainy outside, and the wind was blowing. He had sent her a key to his house so that she could be there when he got back home, and she had set the place up perfectly. There were candles all over the bedroom, and soft music playing on the stereo system.
Then someone came in the door.
“Lacey?” Nick called out as he sat his things down by the door and walked in, not hearing any sounds, or seeing anybody, “Lacey, are you here?”
I’m up here!
“God woman.” Nick muttered as he walked up the stairs and reached the top floor going over to his bedroom. He turned the knob and walked in to see that the entire room was lit by candle light and some soft music was playing on the stereo, “Uh, whoa. Lacey?”
“Here.” Lacey said, walking up to him wearing a lacey red negligee, with her dark, dark brown hair, pulled up on top of her head. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him deeply, almost shocking the hell out of him. He put his arms around her back and kissed her back slowly until they both backed away and looked at each other.
“Whoa, what’s this?” Nick asked as Lacey smiled at him.
“You.”, she said as she leaned down, unzipping his jeans so that they slid down to the floor, “I’m going to remind you.”
“Remind me of what?”
“That you’re mine.” Lacey said as Nick looked around and back at her, as she lifted his shirt up. He held his arms up so that he could take his shirt off. He threw it on the other side of the room and leaned down to kiss her and pick her up a little until she backed away, “Nuh uh. Nope. It’s all me.”
“Uh oh.”
“Uh oh is right.”, she whispered back to him as she backed him up to the bed so that he could lay down on it. She crawled up on the bed, straddling him and then smiled down at him.
“What are you going to do?” Nick whispered as she leaned down, kissing him lightly and sucking on his bottom lip. She moved down to his neck, sucking on it slowly.
“I’m going to kiss you..”, she whispered against his skin as she worked her way down to the crook of his neck, “all over your body…”
“Uh huh?”
“So that you don’t forget that you are mine.”
“I already know.” Nick said as she moved down to his chest and kissed a trail around it with little butterfly kisses. He just smiled in response and closed his eyes.
