Chapter 19

Four days had past and Samantha had not heard from Nick. Megan asked constantly when was Nick going to come back but Samantha was scared to call him because of the last time she talked to him. She didn’t exactly know what he was talking about and he sounded weird, but she knew that he would call her back or come see them, eventually.. she hoped anyway.

AJ had stayed with Nick mostly since Amber had left. The other guys had found out about Nick and Amber and weren’t much in shock since Samantha had came back into his life. Nick didn’t see it that way. He was taking it hard since Amber was the first and only person he actually trusted, liked, and maybe even loved a little since Samantha had left him.

Megan stumbled into Samantha’s room early that morning, carrying her Britney doll and her little blanket, trying to crawl up on the bed but couldn’t by herself. She kept trying but kept falling on her butt.

“Mommy…” said Megan as Samantha woke up and looked over at her.

“Hey baby, uhh it’s early, you’re already awake.. come on let’s go back to sleep…” said Samantha as she pulled Megan up on the bed with her.

“Mommy..” said Megan as she looked over at Samantha who had her eyes shut.

“Yes…” said Samantha.

“Is Nick coming today?” asked Megan.

“I don’t know.” said Samantha, “I don’t think so.” said Samantha as she opened her eyes, and moved Megan’s hair out of her eyes.

“I want him to come back.” said Megan.

“Yeah I know me too baby.” said Samantha, “Go back to sleep and maybe we’ll call him when we wake up okay.”

“Otay mommy.” said Megan as she closed her eyes, snuggling up to her doll and blanket as Samantha smiled.

“Uhhhh I don’t wanna call him…” she thought as she closed her eyes to go to sleep.

“You know what man…” said AJ as he looked over at Nick who was driving that morning, “I don’t know what the hell to do when we have this year off… I don’t have a clue.”

“Yeah.. me either…” said Nick who looked in deep thought as he looked back at Howie in the backseat, “What about you D?”

“Help Polly’s career and do some more fundraising for Lupus, you know I want you guys there.” said Howie.

“Sure thang.” said AJ as he took a sip of his coffee from McDonald’s, “Damn shit’s hot.”

“What about you Nick?” asked Howie.

“I might go out on the road with Aaron or something, watch over him. I can’t stay at a empty house alone.” said Nick as AJ looked back at Howie.

“Uh huh…” said AJ as he started to laugh.

“I’m for real.” said Nick as he kept driving.

“AJ we need some music, turn the radio on.” said Howie as AJ turned the radio on to hear “Bye Bye Bye” going off.

“Uhh damn for real.. “Bye Bye Bye” yo ass on out of here.” said AJ as Nick and Howie started to laugh when “Rain” came on.

“Uh oh..” said Howie as he looked at Nick who didn’t notice it yet.

“Umm..” said AJ as he looked over at Nick and Nick looked at them.

“What?” asked Nick as he looked at the radio, “Uhh…. why the fuck are they playing this song man?”

“Because it’s a hit song.. but you wanna be an ass about it man. It has meaning and crap .. ya know.. all that good stuff.” said AJ as Nick looked at them.

“Yeah okay…” said Nick as he stopped the car and they looked at them.

“What did you stop the car for?” asked Howie.

“We’re here…” said Nick as he took another set of keys out of his pocket.

“Here, where?” asked AJ.

“Sam’s.” said Nick as he got out of the car and AJ and Howie was right behind him.

“What the hell, we drove to St. Augustine?” asked Howie.

“Yes… and I forgot to give Sam back her keys to the eclipse before… it has a house key on it.. come on.” said Nick as he walked up to the front door and started to unlock it.

“Dude this is a phat ass house man.” said AJ as Nick turned around.

“Shh… gonna suprise Megan..” said Nick smiling as they walked in and shut the door lightly.

“Nick, why the hell didn’t you tell us we were coming here.” said AJ as they looked around.

“Suprise… we come to see Megan..” said Nick as he walked upstairs.

“Yeah.. yeah right.” said AJ as he looked over at Howie who nodded his head as they walked upstars to see Nick opening a door.

“She’s not in there..” whispered Nick as he walked by Samantha’s room which was cracked and he motioned for them to come over.

“What?” asked Howie as him and AJ walked up and looked into the door to see Samantha and Megan asleep there in bed.

“Dude…” said AJ as he started to smile.

“That’s sweet..” said Howie, “Go wake them up Nick.” as Nick looked over at them.

“Okay..” said Nick as he walked into the room. He walked over to the other side of the bed where Samantha was and tapped her on the shoulder when she started to move a little.

“Sam… wake up..” whispered Nick as Samantha layed there.

“Nick…” said Samantha with her eyes clothes.

“Dude how can you see me like that?” asked Nick as Samantha opened her eyes really quick.

“Nick? What the…” said Samantha as he put his hand over her mouth.

“Shh…” said Nick, putting his finger up on his lips as Samantha moved his hand from her mouth.

“Don’t tell me to shh.. what are you…” said Samantha as she looked to see Howie and AJ standing in the doorway, “Ohh… you brought them to see Megan, well here she goes… have fun.” as she got out of bed and walked into the bathroom.

“Someone’s jealous.” said Howie as Nick got up on the bed and leaned over to Megan.

“Megan….. wake up….” whispered Nick as Megan opened her eyes.

“Nick!!” yelled Megan as she hopped up in his lap, hugging him like she hadn’t seen him in forever.

“Hey baby.” said Nick as AJ and Howie were laughing, “Hey look.. I brought two friends..” as Nick pointed over at Howie and AJ and Megan looked over at them.

“AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Two more street boys!! Mommy!!! Mommy!!! Two more street boys!!” yelled Megan as Samantha walked out of the bathroom with her robe on.

“Yeah… hey guys.” said Samantha as AJ and Howie waved at her, “How the hell did you get in my house?”

“I accidentally took the eclipse keys with me when I left.” said Nick.

“Accidentally my ass… if you wanted the car back you should have just said so.” said Samantha.

“Sam, I don’t want the car, damn it’s yours.” said Nick, “Megan, that’s your Uncle Howie and that’s your Uncle AJ.”

“Uncle? Like my Uncle Ryan? That’s my mommy’s brother.” said Megan, “Are you my mommy’s brother?”

“Umm no we’re not.” said AJ laughing, “You are very stylish.. girl got these leopard print pj’s on man… you go girl.”

“Thank you.” said Megan giggling, “If they are my uncles, are you my Uncle Nick?”

“Nope.” said Nick.

“Then why not?” asked Megan as Nick looked over at Samantha and then at Howie and AJ.

“Megan that’s a very good question, why don’t you two answer that.” said AJ as Samantha looked over at him.

“AJ, can we have a talk?” asked Samantha as she walked out of her bedroom, as AJ walked out behind her.
