Nick sat there with his hands on Madison’s legs watching Dirty Dancing until he looked over and realized that she was asleep. He just sat there and looked at her and started to smile.

“She’s tired…. She’s slept most of the day.” Nick thought as he moved her legs slowly, got up off of the sofa and layed them back down on the sofa.

He picked up a little blanket and spreaded it over her and stood there looking at her. He walked up to the VCR and stopped the movie and put it back in it’s case and turned the TV to MTV to see “Lucky” by Britney Spears on and looked back at Madison as she started to move a little. He looked back at a chair that was by the sofa and sat down as he curled up in the chair and sat there watching her sleep.

“Damn…. I wonder what the hell made us go get married?” he thought as he continued to look at her, “Maybe I should not listen to Rok more often. This ain’t half bad.” as he started to laugh a little when the phone rung. He jumped up and answered it before Madison woke up.

“Hello?” whispered Nick answering the phone.

“Hey.. how’s it going?” asked Brian as Nick started to smile.

“Cool..” whispered Nick.

“Why are you whispering?” asked Brian.

“Madison’s asleep on the sofa. She fell asleep watching “Dirty Dancing”.” whispered Nick as Brian started to laugh.

“Awww watching a movie with the wife, isn’t it the best?” asked Brian as Nick smiled.

“Not half bad…. not bad at all.” whispered Nick.

“She seems like a great girl.” said Brian.

“Yeah… she is.” whispered Nick.

“You like her a lot don’t you?” asked Brian.

“She’s not half bad.” whispered Nick as he saw Madison started to move, “I’ll see ya first thing in the morning okay. She’s gonna wake up soon I think.”

“Okay. Take it easy.” said Brian.

“Bye.” whispered Nick as he hung up and sat and looked at Madison as she started to wake up.

“Hey… you moved.” said Madison as she sat up.

“Yeah… I have legs I can move.” said Nick as Madison started to laugh.

“Yeah.. what time is it?” asked Madison.

“8:45.” said Nick as Madison looked back at him.

“Seriously.. damn.” said Madison, “I think I still got a hangover.” as Nick laughed.

“Yeah… I think that’s why I slept most of the flight.” said Nick as Madison stood up and fixed her skirt, pulling it down.

“I’m gonna go get ready for bed and take a bath… don’t get in trouble.” said Madison as Nick leaned all the way back in the chair, looking up at her and smiled.

“I’ll try not to.” said Nick as Madison walked into her room, leaving the door open and walked into her master bathroom and shut the door.

Nick sat there and looked around as he got up and walked into the kitchen. He walked up to refridgerator to see a picture of Madison and a young teenage girl that looked alot like her.

“That’s Caley.” he thought as he opened it up to see no food, just some can Mountain Dews and Slice drinks, “Damn girl, I need some food.” as he grabbed a Slice and walked into her room and opened the bathroom door to see her sitting in a bubble bath.

“Damn bubble baths every night princess. There’s no food here.” said Nick.

“Umm I know…” said Madison, “Call and order a pizza or something.”

“Alright…. nice…” said Nick as he walked out and shut the door.

“Princess…. I’ll be damned.” said Madison as she layed back in the tub, going underwater.

“Hey baby, I ordered a pizza….” said Nick as he opened the bathroom door back up to see Madison standing there with a towel wrapped around her, “Sorry…”

“Uhh Nick stop calling me princess and baby.. it’s annoying.” said Madison.

“Sorry sugar lips.. it’ll be here soon, get dressed or I’ll eat it without you.” said Nick as he shut the door.

“Sugar lips?” asked Madison as she looked around confused. Nick walked away from the door giggling as he walked back in and sat down on the sofa.

Madison walked out of her room in a little baby blue t-shirt and a pair of matching drawstring pajama pants brushing her hair and sat down on the sofa next to Nick.

“Pizza here sweetheart?” asked Madison as Nick started to laugh.

“Not yet…” said Nick as he started to sniff, “You smell clean.”

“Thank you I am.” said Madison as someone was at the door.

“Pizza.. food.. yummy…” said Nick as he walked up to the door to see the pizza guy. He payed him and took the pizza away from him, closing the door and grabbing a slice of it before he could turn back around.

“Damn hungry?” asked Madison.

“Yeah…” said Nick as he walked back over and handed her the pizza box and she took a slice out and started to eat a little as he looked over at her, “You’re not one of these like people that don’t eat are you?”

“No.. trust me I eat.. sometimes too much, I’m just not really hungry right now.” said Madison.

“Oh..” said Nick as he grabbed another slice of pizza and looked over at her, “I need go shower and stuff.”

“Oh you can use my bathroom in there.” said Madison as Nick grabbed another peice of pizza and shoved it in his mouth, “Why are you in such a hurry? It’s not a timed race!”

“I know, I just wanna take a bath….” said Nick as he finished eating the slice of pizza and stood up, “In your room?”

“Yeah..” said Madison as Nick started to walk into her room and looked back at her.

Nick walked into her room and looked around and looked to see a big walk-in closet that was open, “Damn… think she got clothes?” he thought as he opened the bathroom door and walked in with his bag, closing the door. He looked to see a big huge mirror with lights all around it and cabinet with two sinks. Then there was a huge big tub and a walk in shower.

“I’m gonna play AJ and be nosey.” Nick thought as he opened the drawer, “Make-up…. glitter…. hair barrettes…. nail polish… typical girl stuff….” he thought as he closed the drawer and started to laugh, “Atleast I know she’s not a serial killer now.” he thought laughing.

A little bit later Nick walked out of the bathroom wearing a pair of checkered blue boxers and a white t-shirt to see Madison sitting up in bed writing something.

“You already in bed? Where’s the pizza?” asked Nick.

“Umm……” said Madison as she looked around and smiled.

“You ate it.. oh and what was it.. I’m not that hungry right now.” said Nick.

“Okay I was starving.” said Madison, “I didn’t want to eat like a hog infront of you.”

“I don’t care, damn you see the way I ate, I was hungry too.” said Nick as he held the towel up, “What do I do with this?”

“In the hamper in the bathroom.” said Madison as Nick walked back in there, turned the light off and closed the door as he looked around her room.

“Pretty big room for an apartment.” said Nick.

“Yeah…. the other two rooms aren’t as big as this one.” said Madison as she continued writing as Nick looked around.

“That picture of that girl and you on the fridge is Caley right?” asked Nick.

“Um…” said Madison thinking, “Yeah.”

“Cool, she lookes more like you than Grace does.” said Nick.

“Yeah, well Grace looks like my dad and so does Jeff and me and Caley look like my mom. We were the lucky ones.” said Madison as Nick started to laugh.

“What does Grace do for you.. like she was in Vegas.” said Nick.

“She like comes along with me when I go places so I won’t be alone.. and she helps with my career a little. She went to college for business management so she kind of knows but Chris at The Firm handles most of it. Grace keeps my best interest in.” said Madison.

“Yeah that’s good to have.” said Nick as he looked at picture of Madison and Jessica Simpson, “Big Jessica Simpson fan?”

“Yeah.. she’s a friend of mine.” said Madison, “We’ve got a duet on my album. We recorded about a month ago.”

“Really, that’s cool.” said Nick, “It’s good to have friends in the business.” as he put the picture down and stood there.

“You can sleep over here…. It’s a pretty big bed.” said Madison.

“Oh.. yeah I’m just standing here looking at this stuff…” said Nick as he walked his way around her room and made his way over to the bed and got over the covers and looked over at what she was writing, “What are you writing?”

“My journal.” said Madison, “I’ve kept a journal since I was like 10.”

“You ever go back and read them?” asked Nick.

“No…. scared to.” said Madison as she started to laugh.

“You wrote anything about me in there?” asked Nick as Madison looked over at smiled.

“Yes I do believe that your name was mentioned a time or two.” said Madison, “Nothing but good things.”

“Aww I’m thrilled.” said Nick as he saw the remote on the bed and turned the TV to MTV to see Eminem “The Way I Am”, “What time does your sisters come in tomorrow?”

“Ummm their flight lands at 5:30 I think so they’ll come here when they get here. Then we leave the next day for Europe so… they’ll probably stay here a few days and then go back to Marietta.”

“Man it’s weird that your brother knows Leighanne, don’t you think?” asked Nick as Madison looked over at him.

“Yeah… a little. I remember hearing about one of the Backstreet Boys marrying a girl from there, but didn’t think much about it. I was mostly in Nashville and here in New York City.” said Madison.

“Now two Backstreet Boys married girls from Marietta.” said Nick as he started to laugh, “That’s whack.”

“Really…” said Madison as she put her journal away and layed back with her head on the headboard of her bed and looked at the TV as she looked over at Nick, “I excpect you’ve never been married before.”

“No..” said Nick as he started to laugh, “You?”

“No… Luke was the only serious boyfriend I ever had.” said Madison as Nick looked over at her.

“And I took him away from you.” said Nick.

“Well… I wouldn’t say that, like I said.. we were on again and off again. Maybe this was as sign saying that that wasn’t meant to be.” said Madison.

“Maybe…” said Nick as he looked over at Madison and smiled.
