Chapter 27
Chapter Twenty - Seven
“Damn.” Nick said as he held the milkshake up and looked back at Elisabeth. She layed her head back on the tub again. Nick took a deep breath, walking over to the tub and handed her the milkshake he had bought from Burger King, “Here you go.”
“Thank you.” Elisabeth whispered as she looked down at his jeans, and back up at his face, “You going to get in?”
“Huh uh.” Nick whispered as he kicked his shoes off, and began practically ripping his clothes off. His pants and boxers went down and his t-shirt went flying as Elisabeth layed there, sipping on her milkshake, cutting her eyes over to him. Finally everything was off and Nick stepped into the tub, sitting down at the other end, facing Elisabeth who waved at him lightly, “Hi,”
“I slept for like ten minutes after you left and felt a little better and the water was still warm, so I got in,” Elisabeth said as she smiled at him, drinking her milkshake. Nick stared at her , looking down in the water, at her knee which was just barely sticking out of the water.
“It’s fine. Getting the milkshake was well worth the trip.” Nick whispered as Elisabeth laughed a little, sitting the milkshake over on a counter behind her, and looked back at him. She smiled, sitting up in the tub a little moving up, and crawling over his legs, moving up closer to him. “What are you doing?”
“I feel like being closer to you.” Elisabeth whispered as Nick smirked a little as she moved up, sitting on his thighs, straddling him. Nick looked down at her, and then looked back up in her eyes as he moved his hands up, holding onto her hips lightly.
“Not going to tease me are you?”
“No, I just have a few questions for you.”
“Interviewing me are you?”
“Why yes I am.” Elisabeth whispered as Nick crackled up laughing and looked away, before looking back at her, “So, what’s your definition of love?” Nick looked at her for a minute, wondering what she was getting at, and took a deep breath, looking down in the water again.
“My definition of love?” Nick asked as he looked back up at her, with a ‘thinking’ look on his face, “It depends on what type of love.”
“Love, romance type love,”
“Romance type love,” Nick whispered as he moved his hands around her waist more, holding onto her, “I think that type of love means that you don’t want to live with out someone. You want them there everyday of your life. You want to go to sleep next to them every night and wake up, seeing their face beside you every morning. And that you love them so much that you would do anything they wanted, all they had to do was say the word,” he said as Elisabeth looked into his eyes and he tilted his head a little, looking into hers, “Next question.”
“How do you want to get married?” Elisabeth asked as Nick smiled a little, moving his hand up her back slowly, giving her goose bumps, “Like where do you want to get married at? Who’s in the wedding and is it big or little, or what?”
“I don’t care as long as you and I are there,” Nick whispered as Elisabeth smiled, “It can be big or small, with all of our family and friends or just us. I don’t care,” he said as Elisabeth reached behind her, taking his hands into hers, “Next question?”
“Why me?”
“Why you?”
“Why do you love me and want me so much?” Elisabeth asked as she looked him in the eyes. “What is it about me that nobody else has?” Nick stared at her blankly for a moment until he smiled a little, and looked back down in the water. That was a good question. He just wanted to make sure that he was going to say it correctly because words and the English language weren’t his best features.
“You might think I’m lying but it’s everything,” Nick said as he looked back up into her eyes, “It’s the way you talk to me, treating me like I’m a human being. It’s the way that you don’t want anybody to use my celebrity to make you even more famous than what you already are -”
“I’m a VJ for God’s sake, not a singer -”
“Yeah, but you’re the best one.” Nick said as Elisabeth smiled, “It’s the way you talk in your sleep, and I hear every single word that you say. I love the way you laugh at stupid crap that only I would laugh about. I love the way that you always have to turn the TV off in the living room when nobody is watching it. I don’t understand why you do that, but I love it -”
“Shh, that’s enough.” Elisabeth whispered, as she leaned over, taking his mouth into hers. She moved her hands from his, and placed them on his shoulders as she moved her lips from his, and began kissing down his neck lightly, sucking on it. Nick sat there, holding his mouth open, and closing his eyes, thinking about how much she was turning him on right now and he knew nothing was going to happen.
“Elisabeth,” Nick whispered as Elisabeth moved her lips from his neck and looked up at him, biting down on her bottom lips, smiling a little. Nick just stared at her for a second, licking his lips, while looking at hers and then looked up into her eyes, “You know I’d never hurt you don’t you?” he asked as Elisabeth nodded her head yes slowly and he smiled, “Well if we’re starting out slowly, will you be my girlfriend again?”
“That’s what I was waiting for you to ask,” Elisabeth said as Nick smiled, leaning up to kiss her on her lips lightly, and then turned it into a longer, slower, deeper kiss. They sat there kissing each other for a few minutes, tasting each other with their hands moving all over their bodies until Elisabeth backed away, looking at him out of breath, “Well boyfriend, do you have a request?”
“Besides you marrying me, yes I have one,” Nick said as Elisabeth laughed, looking him in the eyes, “I want everybody to know that you’re my girlfriend this time. I don’t want to get keep it a secret,” Elisabeth stared at him for a moment, actually in shock that he said that. He was really serious this time, “That’s what I want.”
“Okay.” Elisabeth said as she nodded her head, “I mean, if we are going slowly to getting back to where we were and one day get married, then, people are going to know.” Nick nodded his head, agreeing with her and she smiled back, “Okay, we won’t hide it.”
“Thank you,” Nick said as Elisabeth leaned over, giving him another quick kiss on the lips, “This water is getting cold,” Elisabeth laughed in return, sticking her tongue out at him.
“Close your eyes and I’ll get out and then you can get out,” Elisabeth said as Nick tilted his head, looking at her, “What? I’m still somewhat shy,” Nick just shook his head, putting his hands over his eyes as Elisabeth smiled, kissing him on the cheek as she got out of the tub, “Don’t peek.”
Nick just giggled in return.

According to my dictionary, a girlfriend is: A favored female companion or sweetheart.
Well, I’m Nick’s girlfriend again. I had kind of been waiting for him to ask me that, since he did the whole ‘Will you marry me?’ bit and I told him that I wanted to take things slowly. Well, he finally did it. We are officially girlfriend and boyfriend again. I actually didn’t think he was going to ask me, considering he never asked me the first time we dated.
Now I’m nervous about people actually knowing. Aren’t I the most paranoid person on this earth? So he wants people to know. Well okay, I can’t deny him that since I’m denying him everything else. I guess tomorrow in that interview I’ll just tell them that, yeah, Nick is my boyfriend. I wonder what the reactions of people are going to be. Like, I wonder if it’s going to be ‘Oh she works at CMT but she’s dating a rock star.’ Or something like that.
I’ve always cared about what people say about me. It’s been that way since I was younger when my mother used to make me wear these horrible dresses when I was little. In fourth grade, we had our very first dance, and my mother made me wear this horrible, and I mean horrible, huge pink and white polka dot dress. It was awful and nobody would dance with me because the dress was so ugly. People talked about my dress until fifth grade when finally another girl wore an even uglier dress.
Now that I’m grown and I’m on TV, I guess I care more about what people say about me, especially when it concerns someone like Nick. I just do not want people to think I’m using him because I’m not in any way, shape, or form.
I should really stop worrying about what people think of me.

Elisabeth started to walk downstairs a little bit later, from blow drying her hair. It took her about 30 minutes to actually do it since she had a head full of hair. Her mother always made fun of the fact that she had so much hair now because when she was born, she was bald until she turned one. She smiled, reaching for her hair to pull over onto her left shoulder when she paused, hearing Nick talk on the phone.
He was talking about her. She didn’t know whether to go back upstairs or just go downstairs. It was impolite to actually stand and listen to his conversation but she wanted to know what he was saying. Finally after standing there debating on what she should do, she sat down, listening to him, wondering who he was talking to.
“Yeah, I love her so much man, it’s unreal,” Nick said as Elisabeth rested her elbows on her knees and her chin in the palms of her hands. She figured it was Aaron, Brian, or AJ. Maybe it was Kevin, “But we’re back together and she wants to take things slowly and it’s killing me but I want her back so bad and I want to marry her so I’m doing what she wants. She just teases me sometimes and it almost kills me,”
Elisabeth smiled. She was pretty good at teasing him.
“Yeah, I know she is,” Nicks aid as Elisabeth looked up, wondering what the other person said, “It doesn’t matter though. I don’t care about that,” She sat there wondering what it was that he didn’t care about. “Yeah I know, doesn’t matter though. I love her. Oh okay, I’ll let you go then,” Nick said as Elisabeth stood up, going back upstairs to her room, and sitting down her bed.
She looked over at her alarm clock and reached over to set the alarm. Hopefully she wouldn’t be woken up the same way she was this morning. She better not anyway. She couldn’t handle any more drama.
“Hey,” Nick said as Elisabeth looked up, seeing him walking up the stairs, “Your hair is done?” She nodded her head yes and Nick smiled, sitting down on the edge of the sofa.
“Who were you on the phone with?” Elisabeth asked as Nick looked over at her. Elisabeth looked back at him and he looked away, “Kevin?”
“Aaron,” Nick said as he laid back on the bed and Elisabeth looked over her shoulder at him, “He sends his love.”
“I’m sure that’s not all,” Elisabeth said as Nick cracked up laughing. Every time she was around him, he flirted with her until there was no end, “How is he?”
“Fine,” Nick said as he smiled and Elisabeth looked back at him again, “He wants me to ask you something though,”
“What?” Elisabeth asked as she turned around on the bed, crawling up on the bed further so that she was facing him, “What is it?”
“He wants to come for a visit.” Nick said as Elisabeth stared at him. A 15-year-old version of Nick, staying with them for a few days?
Oh great.
