Chapter Nineteen

Nick and Elisabeth stood there dancing lightly to the music over her stereo for the longest time. She could tell he was nervous about something. She didn’t know what it was exactly but she couldn’t wait to find out. After all, they had been standing there dancing for the longest time. They talked while dancing, and kept kissing each other lightly.

Elisabeth lifted her head off of his shoulder, and looked over at the clock, seeing that it was already going on ten o’clock. She clicked her lips, looking up at him as he opened his eyes, looking at her. She smiled back, leaning up to kiss his lips lightly and Nick moved his, and began to kiss her back deeply, taking her mouth into his. Maybe he was actually going to do what he wanted now, since he was actually getting up a little bit of courage.

Nick moved his lips from hers, sucking on them lightly until he moved them away completely and opened his eyes, looking into hers. Elisabeth took a deep breath, looking back at him and began to smile, wondering what was going on inside of his head.

“I, um,” Nick whispered as he looked down, taking his her hands in his, looking at them and back up at her, “I love you -”

“I love you too,”

“Yeah, but lemme finish,” Nick whispered as Elisabeth started laughing a little, as he looked up at her, “I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don’t ever want you to leave me, and I never want to leave you and I know that’s going to be hard for us if you let us be back together because of our careers,” he said as she looked back down at her hands, “But I’m willing to work around that because I want all of that with you. That’s why I asked you to marry me, because I love you, and I never stopped loving you from the day that I met you.”

Elisabeth just stood there, trying to look him in the eyes, but she knew he was being bashful and shy and couldn’t look her in the eyes the entire time.

“I know that you’re not sure that I’m your ‘one’ and I’m okay with that because that’s a big decision. It took a while for me to come to terms with the fact that you’re my ‘one’,” Nick said as he looked back up at her, looking into her eyes, and pressing his lips together, “I don’t know how I knew it. It wasn’t this one specific thing,” he said as he looked around the room at the candles, taking a deep breath before looking back at Elisabeth, “It’s just everything you do. The way that you’re so scared of love and making a mistake because I’m the same way. I’m afraid of being hurt, but I don’t have to worry about that with you because you’re the same way. It’s the way that you’re so damn self conscious when I think that you’re the most beautiful woman on Earth and the way that you want to wait to make love for the first time to the right person. I respect that about you so much,” Nick said as he looked back down at her hands again, “I just hope to God that it’s me that you choose.”

“Nick,” Elisabeth said as he looked up at her, shaking his head no to her.

“I’m not done,” Nick said as Elisabeth smiled at him and he took another deep breath, looking up at her, “I love the fact that you worked so hard to make all of your dreams come true and have this job and separate yourself from your fucked up family, and I just want to be the one to help you make the other dreams come true. And I heard what your mom said this morning -”

“Uh,” Elisabeth said as she rolled her eyes, and looked away. She wished he really didn’t hear that.

“- and I know that I’ve made some mistakes in my life. I’ve been pretty wild and done some things that I really regret, but most of the time that comes with the territory when you were young like me and subjected to it all. If I could turn back time and do it all over again, I would have waited for you, but I didn’t because I was young and stupid,” Nick said as he looked down at her hands again, “But, in a way it’ll be like my first time too because all of that other stuff, it never mattered. It was just sex, and it wasn’t love,” he whispered as he looked back at her, holding her hand up against his chest, “and what I feel for you, that’s love. I love you more than anything and I know you’re my ‘one’ as you say. There’s no specific way of how I know, it’s just you, that’s all I can say and,” Nick said as Elisabeth moved her hand away from his chest, leaning up to kiss him deeply.

She moved her arms up around his neck, pushing him closer to her, taking his mouth into hers. Nick stood there in shock for a minute by the kiss, until he moved his arms around her, holding onto her tightly. Nick never got to finish what he wanted to say but by the way she was kissing him, he wasn’t really worried about it.

Elisabeth moved her hands from around his neck, and moved them down, taking his blue shirt out of his pants and started to unbutton it. Nick opened his eyes, while kissing her slowly, and tried to look down, watching her but couldn’t see. He was nervous about what she was actually about to do. Finally reaching the top button, Elisabeth moved the tie from around the collar of the shirt and slipped the shirt off, tossing it down on the floor. Nick smiled against her lips in return as she reached back up, untying his tie slowly, and started to move it from his neck slowly, tossing it down on the floor with his shirt.

“Nick,” Elisabeth whispered against his lips as she kissed him lightly again, sucking on his lip. Nick just moaned in return, moving his hands across her hips, “I want you to show me,”

“Show you what?” Nick whispered as Elisabeth stopped kissing him, opening her eyes and looking at him.

“I want you to show me how much you love me without making love to me, meaning, you know, not actually doing it,” Elisabeth said as Nick smiled at her, nodding his head lightly, “Can you?”

“Oh yeah,” Nick whispered as he bit down on his bottom lip and looked down at her dress and back up at her, “But we’re going to have to loose that dress,”

“It’s okay,” Elisabeth said as Nick kicked his shoes off, kicking them on the other side of the room. He moved up closer to her, looking in her eyes as he moved his fingertips up to her spaghetti straps, and started to move them down her arms slowly when all of a sudden it thundered really loudly outside. Nick turned around, looking out the window as Elisabeth finished slipping her dress down to the floor, leaving her in nothing but her panties. Nick was about to say something, and looked back at her to see her standing there in only panties and froze, “What?”

“Nothing,” Nick whispered as he leaned over, kissing her gently on the lips, and began to mumble against them, “Just didn’t expect that,”

“Yeah well,” Elisabeth said as she looked in his eyes, smiling. She looked past him, outside of the window to see that it was now pouring raining, “Go cut the stereo off,”

“Okay,” Nick said as he walked backwards, looking at her and swallowing hard as he reached the stereo and turned it off. He looked back out the window, and walked back up to her, putting his hands on her hips, and looked back up into her eyes, “Now let me show you how much I love you, okay?”

“Okay,” Elisabeth said as she sat down on the bed, and climbed back on it, resting her head on her pillow. Nick closed his eyes, reaching down to unfasten his belt and slipped it off. He unzipped his pants and slipped them down too, stepping out of them, leaving him only in his black boxer briefs and his black socks. Well the socks had to go. He reached down, slipping off his socks, almost falling over, causing Elisabeth to laugh at him in response.

Finally he crawled up on the bed, reaching down to her right foot, and started to unfasten her heels, cussing under his breath because he hated the strappy things. They were too hard to take off. Finally he got that one off, and tossed it over his shoulder, moving over to her left foot, doing the same. That time it was easier since he had figured out how to undo the damn things. He threw that one over his shoulder with the right one, and then looked back up at Elisabeth, crawling up her body, until he was able to look down, into her eyes and smiled.

Nick smiled back, before leaning down to kiss her lightly on the lips. He sucked on her lips lightly, and moved his lips over to her cheek, kissing along it lightly until he reached her neck. He began sucking and kissing along her neck gradually, taking his time to kiss every inch of her skin. Elisabeth layed there, with her eyes closed, and biting down on her bottom lip as Nick reached her shoulders, moving his fingertips across them lightly, barely touching her skin.

Nick finished on her shoulders, moving down to her collarbone. Now he had been away from her mouth for some time now, seeing as how he was taking his time kissing all over her body. But there was only one problem - she couldn’t breathe. At all. It was then that she realized it wasn’t lack of oxygen that made her like this, it was him. It was the things he was doing to her and she knew it had just begun. She just didn’t know how she was going to stop herself from attacking him, but she knew she had to.

By the time she left her thoughts, Nick was down to her right breast, kissing along it slowly, and massaging it. She didn’t really know how to react to that because nobody had ever done anything like to that to her before. She took a few deep breaths, and opened her eyes, looking down at him. She leaned her head back, swallowing, as he moved his right hand over, massaging her left breast. I mean, he didn’t want it to feel left out. She felt like just flipping him over onto his back and kissing the utter hell out of him, but, well, this felt way too good to interrupt it.

Just then she felt Nick leave her breast, and began kissing, and sucking his way down her stomach. He kissed, sucked, and licked his way over every inch of skin. He ran his fingertips down her sides slowly, causing goose bumps to rise on her skin. She was too busy feeling sensations running through her body that she had never felt before, and Nick was too busy kissing every inch of her body to even notice that it was severely storming outside of the apartment.

Elisabeth moved her hands, touching Nick on his back when he stopped kissing her stomach, and looked up at her, moving her hands above his head. She opened her eyes, looking at him and he smiled back with a sexy smirk, mouthing ‘keep them up here’ to her. Elisabeth nodded her head, agreeing with him as he leaned over, kissing her bottom lip lightly before kissing back down her body, reaching her stomach where he had left off.

Elisabeth looked around, licking her lips and breathing heavily with her arms raised above her head when she felt Nick’s fingertips move up under the band of her panties.

Oh shit.

Nick moved his fingers inside of her panties more, pulling them slowly as he sucked on her hips slowly, licking his way around it. Elisabeth scooted up off of the bed gently as Nick began to pull then down slowly. He moved down, pulling them off of her feet and tossed them on the floor as he crawled back up to her hip, sucking on it. He moved his right hand from her other hip, down to her thigh, massaging it slowly until he moved his fingertips along it to her inner thigh.

Elisabeth just closed her eyes, biting down her bottom lip, trying to keep from making any noise or gasping for air. That didn’t really work for long, especially when Nick moved his right hand, in between her legs, brushing against it. When he did that, Elisabeth made a little noise, and started to move a little. Nick smiled against her skin on her right thigh, as he sucked along it and looked back up at her.

He could tell he was doing his job, just by the look on her face.

Nick moved his finger against her again slowly, causing her to wiggle beneath him again. He stopped for a minute, massaging her left hip and thigh, causing her to calm down a little, until he spread her legs apart slowly. Elisabeth layed there, thinking that maybe he had stopped torturing her until she felt him blow against her lightly, causing her to shudder in response. She took a deep breath, thinking maybe that was all he was going to do, she felt his tongue enter her slowly, and she gasped for air.

Nick moved his hands up to her hips, massaging them and holding them down on the bed so that she wouldn’t wiggle up under him. He moved his tongue inside of her again, causing her to whimper at the top of the bed. He smiled, doing it again, just so he could hear her moan again. I mean, after all, she never said that he couldn’t do this and that moaning and panting that she was doing at the top of the bed was enough to make him cum on his own. He moved his tongue in one time, hearing her moan even louder and moved it away from her, going over to her inner thigh, kissing and sucking along it.

Elisabeth sighed in response. Her heart was beating way too fast and she didn’t know if she could take much more until she felt his finger enter her, as he began kissing down her thigh. She gasped again, sinking down in the bed, and swallowing as he moved his finger inside of her again, massaging her. He kissed down her legs, sucking along them, and decided it to was time to work his way back up. Elisabeth took a deep breath as he kissed back up her thighs, sucking and massaging along them until he reached again, darting his tongue inside of her again.

She gasped for air again, reaching up and grabbing a hold of her headboard as Nick licked inside of her again, moving his hands up her body. He reached up, massaging her breast slowly, as he began to kiss and sucked a trail up her stomach, darting his tongue inside of her bellybutton a few times that made her gasp just as bad as before. He smiled against her stomach with a smirk, as he reached up to her breast, kissing along them.

Elisabeth opened her eyes, taking a deep breath as Nick moved his mouth over her nipple, breathing heavily which caused her to whimper. Nick smiled again, kissing in-between her breast, sucking lightly as he moved up her chest to the crook of her neck, sucking on it. He moved his knees on each side of her hips, straddling her as he sucked on her neck, and reached up, basically forcefully removing her hands from the headboard of her bed. He intertwined his fingers with hers, as he kissed up her neck, reaching her chin, and finally her lips, kissing her lightly.

“I love you Elisabeth,” Nick whispered as he looked down at her, to see her open her eyes from being shut tightly, only to see her start to cry.
