“Well aren’t you two going to say something?” Rachel asked as Nick and Kelsey looked at each other and back at Rachel.

“Good morning?” Kelsey asked as she walked over and sat down on the sofa and Nick stood there looking around.

“What’s wrong Carter?”

“Uh, when did you get in?” Nick asked as he walked over, sitting down beside Kelsey who looked at him.

“Last night, around 5:45 or so.” Rachel said as she started to snicker a little and Kelsey closed her eyes, looking down with a smirk on her face, “So the concert went really well last night.”

“Yeah, it did, didn’t it?” Kelsey asked.

“I talked to Tim and his manager after you left. He’s really excited that you’re going to be on the tour. He was a little stunned about you and Nick kissing like that on stage though.” Rachel said as Kelsey looked over at Nick.

“Was he?” Nick asked as he took a deep breath, looking down and over at Kelsey.

“Oh yes, as was everybody else.” Rachel said, “Well I’m going to go in my room and get dressed, oh Kelsey?”

“Yeah?”

“Come here.”

“Oh boy.”

“Oh come on. I need to show ya something.”

“In other words, you wanna get the 411 on us.” Nick said as he looked back at her, “I’ll tell ya.”

“What ever do you mean?” Rachel asked shyly as Nick laughed.

“We’re boyfriend and girlfriend.” Nick said, “We’re dating.”

“Well I knew this.” Rachel said as Kelsey shook her head, wanting to laugh, “Oh Kelsey.”

“Fine fine.” Kelsey said as she got up and they walked into Rachel’s room. Kelsey turned around, crossing her arms, looking at her.

“You did it didn’t you?”

“Maybe.”

“Don’t maybe me, this is a big deal you know, considering -”

“What happened to me, yeah I know and we did.” Kelsey said, “And it was great.”

“Well damn. You were okay with it?”

“Yeah, of course. He was so sweet and gentle.” Kelsey said as she smiled, “And I can’t believe it but I think I’m falling in love with him and I know that’s whack since we did that last night, but the way I felt when I was in his arms and kissing him and just I felt that, that I was falling in love with him and I think I am.”

“You are?” Rachel asked in suprise, “Damn.”

“Yes.” Kelsey said smiling.

“Well okay then.” Rachel said a she smiled, “When’s he leaving?”

“Tomorrow.” Kelsey said as she looked away, “But I’ll be busy and plus there’s the awards next week and he said I’m going to be his date.”

“Really? Well ditch me and David would ya.” Rachel said as Kelsey laughed, “I just don’t want you to get all serious too fast.”

“I’m not.” Kelsey said as Rachel looked at her, “Don’t look at me like that.”

“Yeah well I know you too.” Rachel said.

“Well I don’t care what you know, I know what I’m doing.” Kelsey said as she crossed her arms, rolling her eyes at Rachel.

“Hmm-” Nick thought as he sat there and looked around. He got up, walking back in Kelsey’s room and grabbed his cell phone and dialed a number. He held the phone up to his ear as he sat down on the bed and then got up, kicking the door closed a little.

“Heeeello?”

“Hey.”

“Hey man. How was the show last night?”

“Great.”

“How’s Kelsey?”

“Grrreat.”

“How are you?”

“Grrrrrrrrreat!”

“Uh?” Brian asked as he scratched his head a little, “You become the spokesman for Frosted Flakes man?”

“Huh? No man. I’m great.” Nick said as he smiled and rubbed his hand over his face, mumbling the words “We slept together” to Brian.

“Repeat yourself man. What was that?”

“We slept together.” Nick whispered into the phone when he heard Brian gasp for air, “You alright?”

“A little shocked.” Brian said as he hit his hand over his chest, “I’m okay.”

“Yeah so she’s my girlfriend now and we’re going to the awards next week together.” Nick whispered into the phone when he heard Kelsey and Rachel back in the living room

“Oh really?” Brian asked, “Well.”

“Yeah, but like don’t tell nobody alright man. Promise?”

“Yeah yeah I promise.” Brian said as Nick smiled, “Call me back later.”

“Alright, bye.” Nick said as he hung up his phone, throwing it on the bed and walked out of the room to see Rachel standing in the kitchen and Kelsey sitting back on the sofa, “So what we gonna do today?” as he sat down on the sofa, and looked over at her.

“I don’t care.” Kelsey said as she smiled a little.

“Let’s go out to eat.”

“Out to eat?” Kelsey asked as she looked around, “Like another resturaunt?”

“McDonald’s.”

“That sounds better.”

“Sweet, so it’s a plan?”

“Hmm yeah, but it’s just like not even lunch yet.” Kelsey said as Nick looked around, cutting his eyes over at Rachel and looked back at Kelsey mouthing the words ‘When is she going to leave?’ to her. Kelsey shrugged her shoulders in response.

“Well how bout we get dressed and you can show me around or something.” Nick said as Kelsey smiled a little, wanting to laugh.

“If you don’t want me around you can just say so.” Rachel said from the kitchen as Nick looked back.

“We don’t want you around.” Nick said as Kelsey hit him lightly on the arm and Rachel turned around looking at him, “Excuse me but I would like to spend some time alone with no one else except my girlfriend and you Rachel are not her.”

“Well that’s fine.” Rachel said as she put a glass down in the kitchen and walked into her room and slammed the door.

“Damn.” Kelsey said, “I don’t know what her problem is. She was telling me to take things slow earlier, I’m like what the fuck, I know what I’m doing.”

“Maybe she’s jealous?” Nick asked as he started to laugh.

“I dunno.” Kelsey said as she looked around, “So think she’s gonna leave?”

“Hope so.”

“Is it sad to say me too?”

“No.” Nick said as he smiled a little and Rachel walked out of her room, looking at them and then walked out the front door, slamming it, “Well then.”

“Well she’s gone!” Kelsey said laughing as Nick looked at her laughing.

“Happy bout that?”

“Extremely. Damn I wish I didn’t tell her she could stay here. Of course, I didn’t know I was going to have a boyfriend that was visiting me at the time either. Damn that sounds funny.”

“What?”

“I have a boyfriend.”

“What’s so funny about it?” Nick asked as Kelsey looked around.

“Haven’t had one in a long time.” Kelsey said as she looked back over at him, “Feels weird now.”

“Why now?” Nick asked, “Should have felt weird then.”

“Well you know what I mean, like I have a boyfriend. Damn this is whack. I use to say that I was always single and didn’t have time to date and like now I have a boyfriend.” Kelsey said laughing and Nick shook his head.

“You can still say that.”

“Why?” Kelsey asked, “Damn, well damn.”

“Well damn.” Nick said as he looked around, “Well it’s almost noon. Wanna go out and eat or something?”

“Yeah, let’s do that.” Kelsey said as she smiled, leaning up to give him a little kiss, “Let’s go shower -”

“Huh?”

“Seperately.”

“Damn.”

“And get dressed and go to McDonald’s or something.”

“Sweet.” Nick said as they both got up to get dressed.

About a hour later, Nick and Kelsey walked away from the line at McDonald’s, carrying their trays and walked up to a booth. Nick sat on one side and Kelsey slid in on the other.

“Why’d you have to Super Size everything?” Nick asked, “You trying to spend all my money?”

“Well you were buying. It was a what, a extra 39 cents or something?” Kelsey asked as Nick rolled his eyes.

“That’s a lot of money.”

“I could go outside in the parking lot, find 39 cents and pay you back if I must.” Kelsey said as Nick laughed.

“I’m joking.”

“I know that. Hell you Super Sized yours too. I thought it was only fair.” Kelsey said, “Plus we didn’t go to Wendy’s, I can’t get a Frosty, so what the hell. I worked up a appetite last night.”

“Do what?” Nick asked as he busted out laughing, “You’re whack.”

“Yeah, I know.” Kelsey said as she looked outside the window, “So are we going to tell everybody?”

“Well hmm I think if like any word gets out about the kiss last night then maybe they know.” Nick said, “Although, we haven’t heard anything from anybody and Rachel didn’t mention anything.”

“True. I don’t think we should. I mean Rachel knows, but like whatever. She wouldn’t if she wasn’t staying there.” Kelsey said, “Like my mom and my friends well not that I have any but like Joey and Samantha and your peeps, like let’s not tell them yet. Let’s wait until the awards.”

“Umm sure.” Nick said, looking around, knowing that he had already told Brian, “I told Brian.”

“Huh?”

“I.. well I called him when you went to talk to Rachel. I talk to him about ya know, girl stuff and I’ve been talking to him all along about you or Leigh, which ever name you perfer to go by.” Nick said as Kelsey laughed.

“Okay, that’s cool. Rachel knows, Brian knows. One person each so right now let’s keep it like that.” Kelsey said as Nick nodded his head.

“So we’re girlfriend and boyfriend and everybody will find out when we’re back in LA for the awards on the 9th.”

“Yes.” Kelsey said as she took a bite of her Big Mac, “Does this mean since AJ is a friend of yours, that I have to buy him a birthday present?”

“Nah, but I got a birthday coming up!” Nick said as Kelsey rolled her eyes, “Not that I expect anything.”

“I might get you a present.” Kelsey said smiling, “So..”

“So.”

“What’s next for us?”

“Hmm I leave tomorrow, then the awards?” Nick asked, “Then you said that video that Kev and I are in comes out like two days before then I’m kinda busy and you’re kinda busy.”

“Yeah.”

“Don’t worry about it. We’ll work something out.” Nick said as he smiled and Kelsey smiled back at him.

“You think we will?”

“I’m positive. Don’t you?”

“I think so too. Plus.”

“What?”

“We’ve always got chat.” Kelsey said as Nick started laughing at her, “We’ll work it out.”

“Yeah we will.” Nick said as they smiled at each other.
