“Blunt aren’t you Rach?” Kelsey asked as Nick sat down in another chair, looking around.

“Well?”

“We’re getting married tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Little House Of Love in Vegas. You can come if you want to.” Nick said as Rachel looked at him.

“Oh yeah, Nick, tell Howie I need him to help pick out my big pink wedding dress.” Kelsey said as Nick nodded his head.

“And I gotta get Kev to help me with my powder blue tux -” Nick said as Rachel interrupted him.

“That’s not funny.” Rachel said as Nick and Kelsey cracked up laughing.

“I thought so.” Kelsey said laughing, “God knows I wouldn’t marry him.”

“Ugh, seriously. She doesn’t eat breakfast, you know? I can’t live with that.” Nick said as Kelsey rolled her eyes.

“Whatever. We’re not dating.” Kelsey said as she looked at Rachel.

“No we’re not. Have we been on a date?” Nick asked as he looked at Kelsey.

“Well one kinda.”

“Okay, have we been out since?”

“No we haven’t. See Rachel.” Kelsey said as she crossed her arms and smiled.

“And you haven’t had time to go back out on a date cuz it was only two nights ago.” Rachel said as she looked at them and they both started to laugh.

“Kelsey, wanna go out tonight?” Nick asked as she looked over at him.

“I’m busy.”

“Me too.”

“Sweet.” Kelsey said smiling as she looked back over at Rachel who growled and looked the other way.

“I think we’re pissing her off.” Nick whispered as Kelsey smiled back, nodding her head yes.

“I can hear you.” Rachel said looking the other way. David just sat there laughing at them to himself.

“There’s nothing with us. Friends, yo that’s it.” Nick said, “Don’t get your panties in a bunch.”

“Oh no you didn’t.” Rachel said looking at him, “Just, you know, if there’s something going on. I wanna know.”

“Well there’s not. I’m sure you’ll be the first one to know besides us.” Nick said as Kelsey looked over at Nick, and then back at Rachel.

“Oh I’m sure.” Rachel said as she rolled her eyes, “You two should atleast be honest.”

“Fine, Nick. Our honeymoon tomorrow night is SO going to be the bomb.” Kelsey said as Nick looked around smiling while Rachel looked over at her.

“Did you get those lil lacey nighties -” Nick started to say as Rachel stood up, interrupting them.

“Okay, hold up!” Rachel yelled as Nick and Kelsey laughed again. David just got up, walking out of the room laughing.

“What?” Kelsey asked, looking at her.

“Nothing.” Rachel said as she got up, walking into the little kitchenette.

“Well.” Kelsey said looking over at Nick.

“I better go. I need to go over and talk with Rok before we go do our shit.” Nick said as he stood up, “Oh Rachel!”

“Yes?”

“I’ll see you later when I pick Kelsey up for our date.”

“Ta ta.” Rachel called out from the kitchen as Nick started to laugh a little.

“Bye.” Nick said as Kelsey looked around smiling.

“Bye.” Kelsey said as Nick walked out of the suite and Rachel walked back into the room with Kelsey, “What’s your problem? We’re only joking. We’re just gonna be friends.”

“A month.”

“A month what?”

“A month and you’ll be more than friends.” Rachel said as she sat back down with another cup of coffee, “Watch.”

“No.” Kelsey said as she looked over at the TV.

“Oh the way you two were kissing out there the other night. Whatever Kel. I actually give it less than a month.” Rachel said, taking a sip of her coffee.

“Dude, we’ll be barely see each other in less than 3 days.”

“We’re staying here til the 23rd I think.” Rachel said looking over at Kelsey, “Plenty of time for you and Mr. Carter to get very acquainted.”

“I’m going home as soon as I’m done here.” Kelsey said, “Nick or no Nick, I’m going home.”

“Sure.”

“I am.”

“Whatever.”

“Dude.”

“Yes dude?”

“Dude.”

“What?”

“I’m in love.”

“Oh good god Nick.” Brian said as he rolled his eyes at him while Nick looked at him confused.

“Whaaaat?”

“You’re in love?”

“I’m in love. Dude, it’s whack. I am.” Nick said as Brian looked down laughing, while shaking his head, “Don’t laugh at me man.”

“You don’t even know her that well.” Brian said as he sat down, still shaking his head at Nick.

“I do know her very well. Dude I can’t help it. She smarts back at me with these smart ass comments and nobody else does that except you guys and ya know I love ya’ll. Damn I love her too.” Nick said as Brian cracked up laughing.

“Nick -”

“Dude I’m serious. I watched her sleep for like 3 hours this morning.” Nick said as he sat down across from Brian, “I’m whack yeah but damn. She was asleep in my lap outside and, I just sat there thinking. It’s all whack.”

“Meaning how you knew each other when you met and didn’t know?” Brian asked.

“Yeah.”

“Okay.”

“Whack.”

“Go tell her.”

“Are you out of your god damn mind?!?!”

“Yes.” Brian said as Nick rolled his eyes.

“Thought so.”

“Well I feel all better.” Kelsey said a she walked out of her room, dressing in her white t-shirt and jean overalls with her hair in pigtails, “I took a shower and I feel all better.”

“Good.” Rachel said as she was looking at some papers.

“Watcha lookin’ at?” Kelsey asked as she sat down beside her.

“The tour dates for Tim’s tour. You sure you wanna do this?” Rachel asked looking at her, “I mean you’ll be really busy -”

“Yeah.”

“But you won’t have much time off to -”

“Rachel, nothing’s going on with me and Nick.” Kelsey said as Rachel rolled her eyes.

“I meant you won’t have much time off with your mom.” Rachel said, “You sure? 48 dates in 2 1/2 months?”

“Yeah I’m sure.” Kelsey said, “My mom said she’s going to be fine.”

“Yeah.” Rachel said, “You sure? Maybe you can do half of them.”

“Whatever you think is better. I wanted to do the whole thing.” Kelsey said as she started flipping channels on the TV.

“Okay, I’ll do what I think is better.” Rachel said as Kelsey cut her eyes over at her.

“Do you know something I don’t know?” Kelsey asked as Rachel nodded her head no, “Sure?”

“I know Nick really likes you.” Rachel said trying to change the subject.

“Well duh, I could have told you that moron.” Kelsey said as she stopped on MTV, watching the news.

“So you really going to go out tonight?”

“Doubt it. I dunno what time we’re coming back.”

“Not too late.”

“Why? Why don’t you call him and hook me up Rachel. Geeze, it’s like your pushing me to.” Kelsey said, “If I wanna go out, I will. If I don’t, well I won’t.”

“You wanna go out.”

“Dammit, I know.”

Knock Knock

“What?”

“Open up.”

“What do you want AJ?” Nick asked as he opened the door to AJ standing there smiling, with his hands pressed together, “Are you praying?”

“That you’ll tell me what’s going on.” AJ said as Nick tried to shut the door in his face and AJ stopped it, “Come on dude.”

“I’m not telling you shit. There’s nothing to tell.” Nick said as AJ walked in, shutting the door behind him.

“Nothing to tell? Let me share the facts. One - Your Leigh is really your country chick Kelsey. Two - You go back to your room the other night. Three - I heard from a little birdie that you two were making out in the hallway -”

“Did this bird happen to be from Kentucky from any chance?”

“Actually both of them.”

“Figures.” Nick said, “Continue on.”

“Four - ”

“Dude, we weren’t making out in the hallway, damn. Just a kiss!” shouted Nick as AJ started laughing.

“As I was saying, four - you are gone all day long with Kevin who will not open his door for me or return my phone calls, supposedly with her filming her video.”

“And -”

“And five - you were up too damn early this weekend and I saw her outside in your lap. Now, tell me what’s going on?” AJ asked as he crossed his arms looking at Nick.

“You’re a nosey little bastard you know that?” Nick asked as AJ did a cheesy grin, “Nothing’s going on.”

“Sure.”

“Well it’s not.”

“I don’t believe you.”

“Oh and my heart is so broken.” Nick said sarcastically as AJ rolled his eyes, “Dude, nothings going on.”

“Fine, don’t tell me. I’ll get it out of someone else.”

“Who? Kelsey?”

“I know you talk to Rok.”

“And he’s not going to tell you.” Nick said as he stuck his tongue out at him.

“Tease.”

“Not really.”

“Oh sure.” AJ said, “Tease me more.”

“Fine, she’s a pretty good kisser.” Nick said as he smiled, turning around and walking into the bathroom.

“Oh now, you can’t leave me on that note!” AJ said as he turned around and started to follow him in there when Nick shut and locked hte door, “Oh you ass.”

Kelsey sat there on the sofa while Rachel was over on the other side of the room on the phone, looking at her notepad. She turned to the page that she had started writing on when she at home, right after she had started the personal ad.

“Yeah?” Kelsey asked as she looked over where Rachel was and noticed she wasn’t there, “What?” as she looked the other way and noticed Rachel and Nick was standing there, “Well damn. In how big of a daze was I in?”

“Concentrating on something.” Rachel said, rolling her eyes as she walked back over to where she was.

“What’s up?” Nick asked as he walked over sitting down and Kelsey moved the notepad so he couldn’t see, “What?”

“I was writing something.”

“Oh a love song about me? Oh you shouldn’t have!”

“Psh, in your dreams.” Kelsey said as she looked back at the notepad, “Not a love song.”

“Let me see.” Nick said as Kelsey handed him the notepad and Rachel looked over at them. Nick sat there reading it and started to laugh, “Personal experience?”

“Shut up.”

“Single White Female.” Nick said as he handed it back to her, “That’s what I remember seeing when I saw your ad.”

“You’re writing a song about that?” Rachel asked as Kelsey cut her eyes over at her.

“Blah, I’m playing around with the idea.” Kelsey said, “I started it back after we first met.”

“We?”

“Me and Nick.”

“Has a nice ring to it.” Nick said smiling as he looked away, “For real. It sounds good.”

“Well thanks.” Kelsey said as she closed the notepad and put it down in her lap.

“So what are you doing tonight after you get back?” Nick asked as Rachel cut her eyes over at them.

“Going to sleep?” Kelsey asked as Rachel busted out laughing, “What?”

“Nothing.” Rachel said, “Continue on.”

“So what are you doing?” Nick asked looking over at Kelsey.

“Sleeping?”

“Can I join ya?” Nick asked as Kelsey looked over at him and then back over at Rachel.

“A sleep over?” Kelsey asked laughing.

“Sure.”

“I don’t care.”

“Sweet.” Nick said smiling as he looked away and Kelsey cut her eyes over at Rachel who was shaking her head at them.
