“God.” Rachel said as she walked out of her room that morning, hearing someone knock on the door, “If that’s David, I’m putting my foot up his ass. It’s only 8.”

She walked up to the door, looking out the peehole to see Nick standing outside and she growled.

“Yes?” Rachel asked as Nick peeked in the door smiling at her, “She’s asleep.”

“Sweet. I’m good at coming when she’s asleep.” Nick said as he walked into the suite and looked around, “That her room?”

“Uh huh.” Rachel said as she yawned and Nick opened hte door, walking in and shutting it, “Well then. I’m going back to bed.”

Nick stood there looking at Kelsey who was asleep on her stomach, in bed and he started to smile. He stood there trying to figure out what to do until he squatted down beside the bed, the moved her hair out of her face.

“Wake up.”

“Um, not time Rach.” Kelsey moaned as Nick looked around and smiled.

“I’m not Rachel.”

“Um, I don’t care.” Kelsey moaned again as Nick started to laugh and she opened her eyes and almost jumped, “God damn Nick!”

“Scare ya?”

“Damn, didn’t I see you last night?” Kelsey asked as Nick started to laugh a little.

“Yeah, wake up.” Nick said as Kelsey looked over at him and then put her head, face down in the bed.

“I have to work today too you know.” Kelsey said, “Just later. I’ve got to go to the studio.”

“Well we do too. A different one that is.” Nick said as he looked at Kelsey, “Did you fall back asleep?” he asked as he nudged her a little.

“Uhh leave me alone.” Kelsey said as Nick laughed, “What do you want?”

“Have breakfast together?”

“There’s something you should learn about me if we’re going to be friends.”

“What’s that?”

“I don’t eat breakfast.”

“You don’t?”

“No.”

“What do you do?”

“I have a glass of chocholate milk. It does a body good.”

“Damn it sure does.” Nick said slowly, looking at her and she lifted her head up, looking at him as he laughed nervously, “Sorry.”

“Uh huh.”

“Well there’s one thing you should learn about me if we’re going to be friends.” Nick said as Kelsey put her head back down, “I eat breakfast.”

“Good. I’m glad Nick.” Kelsey said as she turned her head, looking at him, “I don’t eat breakfast. You do. These are interesting findings that we’re having here.”

“Definetly.” Nick said as he started to peek under the cover, “So do you sleep in any pants?”

“Stop that!” Kelsey said as Nick cracked up laughing.

“I’m joking. Relax.” Nick said as Kelsey sat up in bed with her hair pulled up on top of her head, looking at him, “Oh lovely.”

“Shut up.” Kelsey said as she rubbed her eyes, “I don’t usually have guys waking me up in my bedroom.”

“Luckily enough I’m not just a guy.” Nick said smiling as Kelsey moved her hands and looked at him.

“You’re a she-man?”

“Shuddup.”

“Ha ha.” Kelsey said sarcastically, “I want to write.”

“Write what?”

“Write a letter telling you to get the hell out of my bedroom so I can get dressed?” Kelsey asked as Nick laughed a little.

“Why would I want to do that? There’s nothing on TV. I need something to watch.” Nick said as Kelsey rolled her eyes, looking away, “I’m joking. You’re all so serious in the morning.”

“Because I’m not awake yet.” Kelsey said as she looked back over at him.

“This is when they need to make a video. You’re all so cute and pouty in the morning.”

“Oh shut up.”

“Oh admit it.”

“I am not.” Kelsey said as she started to yawn and looked down, “I wanna go back to sleep.”

“Get up and get dressed. You’ve got 5 minutes.” Nick said as he smiled and got up, walking out of her room. Kelsey just sat there looking around.

“Carter.”

“Rachel.”

“Watcha doing over here so early?” Rachel asked as she sat there, drinking her cup of coffee.

“Taking Kelsey somewhere.” Nick said as he sat down.

“David’s not up yet.”

“She doesn’t need a bodyguard with her 24/7.” Nick said as he looked around, “I can protect her.”

Rachel just busted out laughing.

“Yeah right.”

“We’re just going downstairs and shit, that’s all. We’re not hoping a plane to Hawaii.” Nick said as Rachel looked over at him.

“Rule 1. Don’t come here before 10:30. We like our sleep.” Rachel said as Nick laughed a little.

“Rule 1. Nick gets what he wants.” Nick said as Rachel raised her eyebrows at him when Kelsey walked out of her room wearing a t-shirt with her hair pulled back and a pair of drawstring pants.

“I’m not dressing up.” Kelsey said as she grabbed a jacket and put on.

“That’s my j - “Rachel started to say as Kelsey looked over at her, “And you’re still half asleep.”

“That’s fine.” Nick said, “I’ll have her home by midnite.”

“Before then. I mean it.” Rachel said as Nick smiled over at her as him and Kelsey walked out of the suite.

“Don’t come wake me up at 8 anymore. I need my beauty sleep.” Kelsey mumbled as Nick shut the suite door and started to laugh at her, “And I’m cold.”

“Want me to make you warm?”

“Keep your hands to yourself please.” Kelsey said as Nick stopped and watched her as she continued to walk to the elevator and she stopped and turned around, “Why in the hell am I above you because I don’t know where you be wanting to go!”

“Be wanting to go? Are you from the ghetto part of Georgia?” Nick asked laughed as he walked by her and up to the elevator.

“Actually, yes.” Kelsey said as she rolled her eyes.

“Sassy first thing in the morning.”

“Oh would you stop flirting, god I already like you. You don’t need to flirt continiously.”

“I’m not flirting continiously, thank you very much.” Nick said as they got in the elevator ans Kelsey cut her eyes over at him.

“That’s a crock.”

“Oh please, you like it.”

“Whatever.” Kelsey said as she closed her eyes when the elevator doors opened.

“Oh come on.” Nick said as he took her arm, practically dragging her out of the elevator.

“Nick, stop. I’m tired.” Kelsey said as she opened her eyes to see the sunlight and closed them back.

“What are you so tired about? We got back to the hotel about 12 and you went right in and went to sleep.” Nick said as Kelsey sat down on a bench, closing her eyes.

“Stayed up til about 3 on the phone with my mom.” Kelsey mumbled as Nick looked down at her.

“Oh, well damn I’m sorry I didn’t know.” Nick said as he looked around, “She okay?”

“Yeah. I hate talking on the phone but I hate to tell her I’ve gotta go now.” Kelsey said as she opened her eyes a little, and began to rub them, “And why in god’s name were you in my bedroom this morning?”

“Hmm well.” Nick said as he sat down beside her, “I couldn’t sleep. I was bored. So I thought I’d come over, wake you up and have breakfast.”

“I don’t eat breakfast.” Kelsey said as Nick looked over at her as she yawned.

“So I heard.” Nick said as Kelsey yawned again, “Wanna go back upstairs?”

“No, it feels good not to have Rachel around.” Kelsey said as Nick started to laugh, “I wanna lay down.”

“Hmmm well lay down here.” Nick said, “Put your head in my lap.” Kelsey opened her eyes, looking over at him, “What?”

“I just - I never expected you to say that.” Kelsey said as she looked back down, “Blah, I dunno what to think. I’m still asleep.”

“Well lay down then.” Nick said as Kelsey looked over at him, scooting over closer to him, and putting her feet up on the bench, laying back in his lap, looking up.

“Now I feel weird.” Kelsey said as Nick started to laugh as he looked around.

“Yeah well not everyday I got a woman’s head in my lap.” Nick said as Kelsey started to laugh, “Sorry.”

“It’s okay.” Kelsey whispered as she closed her eyes and Nick looked down at her.

Three hours later

“Damn.” Nick thought as she sat there with Kelsey’s head in his lap asleep, “Chick needs to wake up. I’m not a bed.”

He looked down to see her sound asleep and he looked back up to see some older couple walk by, giving them a funny look.

“Now people are looking at me.” Nick thought as he moved his hand, and moved a strand of hair out of her face.

“Kelsey.”

“Hmm..”

“Wake up.”

“Uh, where am I?” Kelsey asked as she opened her eyes and looked at Nick, “Hi.”

“Hi. You’ve been asleep here for the last 3 hours.” Nick said as he looked down at her, “And my legs are numb.”

“Oh, I’m sorry.” Kelsey said as she laughed a little and sat up, moving her legs, and looked around, “Damn.”

“Feel better?”

“A little.”

“I can’t feel my legs.”

“I’m sorry.” Kelsey said laughing a little as she looked over at him.

“Oh it’s okay.” Nick said as he moved them a little, waking them up, “Feel better since you got some more sleep?”

“Yes. Thanks.”

“No problem.” Nick said as he looked over at her, “You talk in your sleep.”

“Huh?”

“You talk in your sleep.”

“Do not.”

“Yeah you do Kelsey.”

“I do not.” Kelsey said as Nick laughed, “What did I say?”

“Oh Nick, you’re so hooooot.” Nick said as he looked at her and smiled.

“I did not!”

“Yeah you did.”

“No!”

“Fine, you said my name though.” Nick said, “Now what was going on or anything else, I don’t know. But you whispered my name one time. I thought I was hearing things but I know I wasn’t.”

“I think you were.”

“Was not.” Nick said as Kelsey smiled over at him, “Oh so you did dream about me?”

“I had a dream about the video.” Kelsey said as she rubbed her hands over her face, “I dunno.” She moved her hands and looked up to see three girls walk by them looking at them, “Oh great. Now I’m your new girlfriend.”

“Huh?”

“I’ll be seen with you and I’ll be your new girlfriend.” Kelsey said, “Oh I know about this stuff.”

“So?” Nick asked, “And the bad part is?”

“If you start singing Girlfriend to me I might throw up.” Kelsey said as Nick started to laugh.

“Where’s Kelsey?” David asked as Rachel sat there looking at some papers, “Rachel?”

“With Nick. He came and kidnapped her hmm about 3 hours ago or so, maybe a little more.” Rachel said, “I don’t know where they went. To eat breakfast I think.”

“Kelsey doesn’t eat breakfast.” David said as Rachel started to laugh, “Well that’s interesting.”

“To say the least. Kelsey doesn’t get up for nobody at 8 oclock, and she did for him.” Rachel said smiling, “La la la.”

“Yeah.” David said as he sat down and someone knocked on the door, “Bet that’s her.”

“Probably.” Rachel said as David got up and looked out the door, opening it to see Nick and Kelsey outside, “Oh you’re finally back.”

“I fell asleep.” Kelsey said as they walked in and Rachel looked over at David.

“Yeah and my legs are still asleep.” Nick said as he moved them and Kelsey rolled her eyes at him.

“You’re the one that told me to go to sleep so stop bitching.” Kelsey said as she sat down in a chair and crossed her legs looking around, “So what I miss?”

“Nothing.” Rachel said as she looked up at Nick and then at Kelsey.

“What are you looking at?” Nick asked as he looked at Rachel, “Do I have like this big dot on my forehead?”

“So what’s going on with you two? Are you dating now or what?” Rachel asked as Kelsey rolled her eyes, looking over at Nick.
