Well, basically almost a week has passed. Kelsey had did her things in New York and back in Nashville and it was the day that she, Rachel, David - and Princess (who they brought along) were to go back to Los Angeles.

The whole week had been nothing but a whirlwind. Kelsey did all of her things in New York City and was busy most of the time but she kept finding time to go and chat with Nicholas.

One time she even locked herself in a bathroom to talk to him because she promised him that she would be online.

They had started chatting more and more. One night they talked almost all night long, just about anything and everything. About their friends or when they were little, about her mom being sick or about one of his stupid friends.

By the time Kelsey go back to Nashville and was supposed to have a meet with her label about the new video that she had shot in LA, they told her she wasn’t going to release it, even though it was suppose to debut on CMT the next day. They told her they had trashed it and they weren’t releasing that song as a single.

Kelsey was pissed to hell and back.

They told her that they wanted her to release one of her ballads on the album as the next single and shoot a video for it when she was back in LA. They told her that the choices they had down for the next single was either I’m Not Suppose To Love You Anymore, Anything And Everything, or Between Now And Forever which was the duet with Bryan White.

Kelsey had remembered in one of the e-mails that Nicholas had told her that he really liked I’m Not Suppose To Love You Anymore, so she picked that one.

She skipped her appearance on CMT’s MWL the next day since she wouldn’t be releasing the video and instead went shopping - for her dress to wear on her date with Nicholas, which was only a few days away.

The next night, she had to open a show for Kenny Chesney and Lonestar and after that, she went home to pack for LA so that she could start work on her other new video and finally meet Nicholas.

Nick on the other hand had been pretty busy working with the guys. He kept finding time to get on when he knew that Leigh/Kelsey would be on, but other than that, he’d been busy.

He’d even took Brian with him to some store and bought a suit. AJ really rode his ass about that.

Nick had been doing much except working with the guys and talking to Leigh, except trying to keep up with Kelsey and figure out when she was coming back to LA. When he didn’t see her new video on CMT he started to worry that she wasn’t coming back - and he wouldn’t ever get her number again.

But he was wrong.

“We got the same freakin’ suite?” Kelsey asked as she walked while David opened the door.

“The same freakin’ suite.” David said in a southern voice, making fun of her.

“Wonder if Nick’s next door again.” Rachel said laughing.

“I doubt it.” Kelsey said, “I wonder why he never called me.”

“Scared.” David said laughing as Kelsey rolled her eyes at him.

“He knows I don’t bite.” Kelsey said as picked her bags up off the floor where David had dropped them and started to take them into her bedroom in the suite.

“Uh.” Rachel said as she listened to the messages on her voice mail, “Kelsey!”

“Yeah?” Kelsey asked as she peeked her head out of her door.

“Um, you might want to change your date with Nicholas to tonight.” Rachel said as Kelsey looked at her.

“Huh?”

“We start working on the video tomorrow and then they’ve pushed the studio time back to the night of the 16th.” Rachel said, “So tonight is the only night you have free and I know you want to -”

“Damn.” Kelsey said as she looked around, “I hope he’s free. Of course last night he said that he’d be online most of the night. Shit lemme go e-mail.” as she ran back into her room, taking her computer out.

“Damn, gonna be whack if he can’t.” David said as Rachel held her cell phone up to her chin.

“I should go talk to Kev. I bet he’s around here somewhere.” Rachel said as David nodded his head.

“Dude I’m sorry but that kicked ass.” AJ said as him and Nick walked out of the elevator laughing, “I’m telling you, it kicked fucking ass.”

“Dude, I hear you telling me that it kicked ass. I do know that it kicked ass.” Nick said laughing, “Damn. I love that movie.”

“Dude it kicked ass.”

“Dude you already said it!” Nick yelled as AJ started laughing, “I’m gonna run in and check my e-mail and shit and then I’m going over to Rok’s room cuz we’re gonna write.”

“Oh lovely darling. I’m going in to take a damn shower. I feel stank because I had to sit next to ya for two and a half hours.” AJ said as he started sniffing his arm.

“Dude shut the hell up.” Nick said laughing as he walked up to his door opening it. He walked over to his bed where his laptop was sitting and turned it on. He sat there laughing to himself about how big of a dumbass AJ was until the internet connection was complete and he logged into his e-mail to see 1 new message. He clicked on the inbox seeing that it was from Kelsey and he opened it and began to read.

Hey Nicholas,

Kelsey

“Dude, tonight?” Nick asked as he looked around, “Shit.”

He sat there looking around a minute until he picked up his cell phone, dialing a number.

“Yo Rok, I need help man.”

“Oh man, so okay, this video.” Kelsey said as she walked out of her room, “It’s-”

“Did you e-mail him?” Rachel asked.

“Oh yeah I did. Damn Rach, you’re being all supportive of this.” Kelsey said as she sat down.

“Well I just want you to be happy and if this guy makes you happy then I’m all for it.” Rachel said as she smiled.

“Aww that’s so sweet.” Kelsey said laughing, “He does. Like the more I talk to him the more I like him.”

“That’s good.” Rachel said, “I expect a full report later tonight.”

“Oh you will. I just hope he can. I’m nervous.” Kelsey said laughing, “So this video -”

“It’s going to be shot in this old abandoned mansion.” Rachel said, “I like the concept.”

“No kissing?”

“No kissing.”

“Great!” Kelsey said laughing as she clapped her hands together, “So should I wear my hair up or down?”

“Down.”

“Straight or curly?”

“Straight.”

“Do it or don’t?”

“Huh?” Rachel asked in shocked as Kelsey started to giggle, “Dude.”

“I’m joking Rachel. I’m not gonna do it on the first date. I mean hell no.” Kelsey said, “I mean we may never go out again for all I know. Who knows?”

“True.” Rachel said, “Well I hope he can go out tonight. I bet he’ll change his schedule just for you.”

“I hope so.” Kelsey said laughing, “Do you think I’m stupid for doing this?”

“Oh of course not.”

“You thought I was at first.”

“At first.” Rachel said, “Go see if he’s replied.”

“Okay.” Kelsey said as she walked back into her room and sat down, going to check her e-mail since she was still logged online, “Oh he has!”

“He has?” Rachel asked as she got up walking in there as Kelsey clicked on the message.

“Oh damn he got it changed.” Kelsey said as she looked at Rachel, “What?”

“Love?”

“Uh, don’t ask.” Kelsey said as she laughed, “Damn, 5 hours?”

“5 fucking hours.” Nick said as he stood there infront of Kevin and Howie who had their arms crossed looking at him, “I’m gonna meet her in 5 hours.”

“Leigh?” Howie asked as he looked at Kevin.

“Yeah man.” Nick said, “What the fuck do I tell her when she sees me?”

“Uh, hi?” Kevin said as he looked at Howie who wanted to laugh.

“But dude, she’s gonna know it’s me.” Nick said as he started to freak out, “I hope she don’t pass out.”

“I doubt it.” Howie said, “Just calm down.”

“Oh I’m calm.” Nick said as he started to pull his hair, “Damn.”

“Just go relax in your room, watch some TV and then maybe start getting ready. Watcha gonna wear?” Kevin asked as Nick looked at him.

“A suit.” Nick said as Kevin and Howie started to laugh, “What? I told her she had to wear a dress and she told me I had to wear a suit. So Rok and I went and got one. Look good in it too.”

“Well I hope you have a nice time.” Kevin said laughing, “Come back and tell us ALL about her.”

“Every last detail.” Howie said.

“Damn, 5 hours.”

“More like 4 hours and 45 minutes now.” Kevin said as Nick started to wine, walking out of the room.

“I think I look like crap.” Kelsey said as she stood there in her room looking at herself in the mirror. She had on a sleeveless black dress that was sort of fitted and came down about 3 inches from her knees. Her hair was straight down almost like she had warn it at the awards but curled under instead being all straight.

“No you don’t. Not when you put your matching jacket on.” Rachel said as she handed Kelsey her necklace, “There put that on.”

“Okay.” Kelsey said as she took the necklace and putting it around her neck and fastening it, “Damn I feel nervous.”

“Nah, you look good.” Rachel said as she laughed a little

“Really? Dude, if my mom knew we were doing this, she’s freak.” Kelsey said laughing as she looked in the mirror and put on her bracelet.

“Oh she does. I told her about it when we were there. She said she wanted you to have a good time if you really liked him.” Rachel said as Kelsey looked at her in shock.

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Damn.”

“Well I’m almost ready.” Kelsey said as she looked back in the mirror, “Now help me with my make up. I suck at it, but not too much.”

“Alright.” Rachel said as they walked into the bathroom.

“Dude, I ain’t wearing that damn tie.” Nick said as he threw the tie over in the trash can, “I feel like I’m fucking chocking.”

“Fix your hair.” Brian said as he handed Nick a brush.

“What’s wrong with my damn hair?” Nick said as he looked in the mirror.

“It looks like it needs to be combed?” Brian said sarcastically as Nick took the brush, brushing his hair down. Brian stood there shaking his head at Nick until he looked down at his watch, “You might wanna hurry up. It’s already 7.”

“Damn yeah. I wanted to be there a little early.” Nick said as he threw the brush on the bed and Brian handed him his jacket, “I look like shit.”

“Always, but you look alright.”

“Thanks for the support.”

“Want me to come? I’d love to be there.” Brian said as he did a big cheesy smile.

“That’s okay.” Nick said laughing.

“Have a good time and uh remember that whatever happends, life works in mysterious ways.” Brian said smiling as Nick gave him a weird look.

“Have you been watching Ferris Beuller’s Day Off again?” Nick asked as Brian smiled again, “Alright well I’m gone.”

“Good luck.” Brian said as he patted him on the back.

“Thanks.” Nick said as he laughed, walking out of the room. Brian stood there as he started laughing hysterically, falling back on the bed.

“I’m nervous.” Kelsey said as her and David walked into the resturaunt. It was 7:25.

“Well just relax.” David said as he looked around the resturaunt and back at Kelsey, wanting to laugh as the hostess walked up.

“Do you have a reserveation?”

“Uh, she does.” David said as he pointed over at Kelsey.

“Oh u, yeah, I was suppose to meet someone named Nicholas here at 7:30.” Kelsey said as the lady smiled.

“Oh yes.” she said as she looked at David, “Is he with you?”

“Oh no. I’m just her bodyguard, but she’s on her own now.” David said as Kelsey looked at him, “Bye Kel.” as he started to walk away.

“David!” Kelsey whispered loudly as David walked away.

“Well, you can follow me.” the hostess said as she turned around and started to walk away. Kelsey looked around and started to walk slowly, following the hostess. She looked around at all the people in the resturaunt, until finally she noticed the lady stop ahead of her, “Just stay here for a minute okay?”

“Okay.” Kelsey said as the lady walked into one of the private dining rooms, shutting the door.

“You’re date is here.” the hostess said as Nick stood up out of the chair.

“Really?” Nick asked as he looked around, “Damn I should rethink this.”

“Oh, do you -”

“Oh no, just tell her to come in when she gets ready.” Nick said as the hostess smiled.

“Okay, I’ll send her in and let you two get acquainted and then I’ll send a waiter in.” the hostess said as Nick stood there and looked around and walked on the other side of the room.

“Can’t let her walk in and see me time she does.”

“Okay, sorry.” the hostess said as she walked out of the room and shut the door, “You can go in whenever you get ready.”

“Okay, thanks.” Kelsey said as the hostess walked away. She walked up to the door, putting her hand on the doorknob and started to turn it slowly while pressing her lips together. She opened the door slowly looking into the room, not seeing anybody and began to walk in, when she looked over to see Nick standing to her left.
