“Damn.” Kelsey thought as she sat there looking around trying to figure out what to say and began to type.

Kelsey: Well no not really I talked to Kevin though,

Kelsey: but my friend and I came to Las Vegas today because she wants to gamble

“Dude she’s here in Las Vegas, at the hotel.” Nick said as he looked over at Brian.

“Good God.” Brian muttered as Nick looked away and back at him.

“You’ve been taking the Lord’s name in vain way too much tonight. First at the crab tables and now. What’s become of ya Rok?” Nick asked as Brian cut his eyes over at him and pointed at the computer.

Kelsey: how did you know they’re in las vegas?

“Shit.” Nick said as Brian started to laugh.

Nick: I uh, checked Kelsey website and it was said in it

Kelsey: but I was talking about Backstreet Boys, you said they were in Las Vegas

“Beat that one blonde boy. She’s got your ass.” Brian said as Nick growled at him and began to type.

Nick: well I know the Billboards are this week so I figured they’d be there, u know with all these singer and all

Nick: Was Nick as good looking in real as you thought he was on tv?

“Dude, you’ve got such an ego.” Brian said as Nick laughed.

“Hey, I can find out if I look like shit in person you know.” Nick said as he laughed, “Damn I hope I do.” as he rubbed his chin, “Do I need to shave?”

“Shut up Nick.”

Kelsey: Oh they are aren’t they lol Maybe I should scope out NSync and beat the shit out of Timberlake, wonder what hotel they’re in lol

“I love this girl.” Nick said as Brian looked over at him, “What?”

“I ain’t saying a word.”

Kelsey: well I’ve seen him in person before ya know, but yes he’s really cute in person

Kelsey: was Kelsey as pretty as she is on TV?

Nick: Even more, natural beauty

Nick: You saw him before?

Kelsey: yeah I did I mean I saw them in concert before you know

Kelsey: Yeah but he looks better off stage just in regular clothes although the leather pants are very very nice

“Another guy my ass.” Brian said as Nick shook his head and typed.

Kelsey: so why didn’t you go up and talk to Kelsey? I’m sure she wouldn’t bite

“Dude, she’ll freak out. You need to go find Kevin and asked who he talked with today.” Brian said as Nick looked over at him.

“Very good idea.” Nick said as he looked back at the laptop.

Kelsey: What, about Nick and AJ? lol

Kelsey: yeah I’m pretty sure I’ll meet them one day

Nick: yeah

Kelsey: yep, I’m tired lol I’ve had a long day

Nick: Me too

Kelsey: we should go to sleep then lol

Nick: yeah I guess

Kelsey: Okay well I’ll be here tomorrow around lunch I promise okay? and we’ll chat again

“Damn she sounds nice and sweet.” Brian said as Nick logged offline, “And you got a date around lunch tomorrow.

“Damn skippy.” Nick said as he smiled, “Come on, let’s go terrorize Kev.”

“Well.” Rachel said as Kelsey walked out of her room and walked over, sitting down on the sofa beside her, “What happened?”

“He did see me. He told me what I had on.” Kelsey said, “Pigtails, overalls. He said I looked so cute.”

“Well not to boost your ego but you do look cute like that.” Rachel said as she laughed, “So he must have saw you this morning.”

“Yeah, probably.” Kelsey said as she sat there, “Dude I’m totally whack.”

“Why?” Rachel asked, “I don’t know, but I could have told you that a long time ago.” as she looked back at the televsion.

“What if I win tomorrow night. Who do I thank?” Kelsey asked as she looked over at Rachel.

“Your manager.” Rachel said as she started to cough a little and laughed, “The label, your band, your family, whoever you want to. If you want to take the oppurtunity to tell ‘N Sync, fuck you, then do it.”

“Really?” Kelsey asked as she started to smile.

“Please don’t embarrass me.” Rachel said as Kelsey smiled, “And you better not thank no damn Nicholas.”

“I was thinking about saying hi but, I’m not.” Kelsey said, “I’m nervous about the performance. I don’t think it’s going to go good.”

“Well you’ve gotta rehearse more tomorrow then start getting ready, it’s gonna be a busy day.” Rachel said.

“I’ll have time to get online for a few though right?”

“Yeah you should.” Rachel said as she looked over at her, “Why?”

“I told Nicholas I’d come online around lunch or so.” Kelsey said, “I like talking to him. He said he’s nervous about dinner.”

“Not as nervous as you I bet.” Rachel said as she laughed and Kelsey laughed.

“Come on Richardson!” Nick said as he knocked on his suite door.

“I could so kick his ass.” Nick said as he looked over at Brian who laughed while Kevin opened the door.

“Yes sweethearts?” Kevin asked as Nick and Brian walked into the suite to see Kristin sitting there looking at a magazine.

“Hey Kristin.” Nick said as Brian walked over and sat down beside her as Nick looked at Kevin, “Kevin.”

“Nick.”

“Dude.” Nick said as he put his hands on Kevin’s shoulders, looking him in the eyes, “Who all did you talk to today?”

“Huh, why?” Kevin asked.

“You talked to Leigh. I talked to her. She said that she met you today and that she saw me and AJ getting into a elevator.” Nick said, “I wanna know who all you talked to.”

“Nick.” Kevin said as he started to laugh a little, “Son, I talked to too many people.”

“You talked to Kelsey Baker.” Kristin said as Nick looked over at Kristin, “You said she was on this floor too.”

“Do what?” Nick and Brian asked at the same time.

“What?” Kristin asked.

“Kris, Nick’s got a thing for Kelsey.” Brian said as Nick looked away while Kevin laughed, “He’s scared to talk to her.”

“Okay who else did you talk to besides Kelse.. hold up, she’s on this floor too?” Nick asked as he looked around, “Good god. Which suite?”

“Beside yours.” Kevin said as he cracked up laughing and Nick let go of him and turned around, looking up.

“God why are you doing this to me?” Nick asked as the others started to laugh and he turned around, “No. I want to know who else you talked to besides Kelsey. Any girls, brown hair, kinda tall.”

“Kelsey’s pretty tall for a girl.” Kevin said as Nick shook his head.

“Dude, forget Kelsey for a minute. I’m talking about Leigh.” Nick said as Brian looked over at Kevin who looked back at him.

“I’ve met several young ladies today. No names ring a bell, it was just a quick high.” Kevin said as Nick closed his eyes, “Sorry. If it accounts for anything, every young woman that could have been Leigh is very beautiful.”

“Next time, take names and e-mail addresses.” Nick said as Brian started laughing.

“Who’s Leigh?” Kristin asked as Brian started laughing, leaning over to tell her while Nick looked back at Kevin.

“Nick, I’m sorry man. I don’t remember a Leigh.” Kevin said as Nick nodded his head a little.

“It’s alright. So um, what did Kelsey say?” Nick asked as Kevin laughed.

“Just talking about the awards tomorrow night. I told her which award we were doing and how ‘NSync was going to present her award. She was pissed about it.” Kevin said laughing a little, “I take it she’s not a fan. Who knew a girl could not like ‘NSync.”

“Leigh loathes them.” Nick said, “Damn, that makes me like Kelsey more.”

“Oh boy here we go.” Brian said laughing.

“Nick, why don’t you just talk to her. She’s on this floor, go talk to her.” Kristin said, “I’ll go with you.”

“No, Kris, that’s okay.” Nick said, “Kev, if you talk to a Leigh again, scope her out.”

“Yes sir.” Kevin said as Nick looked back over at Brian.

“Go on man. I’m staying over here a little while.” Brian said as Nick nodded his head a little.

“Alright, night guys.” Nick said as he walked out of Kevin’s suite and Kevin busted out laughing.

“Oh that’s funny shit right there.” Kevin said as Brian and Kristin looked at him.

“Kevin, what’s so funny?” Kristin asked as Kevin looked over at Brian.

“No, don’t you tell me.” Brian said as he stood up, “Don’t.”

“I’m not saying a word.” Kevin said as he walked over, picking up his drink taking a sip.

“Kelsey’s middle name is Leigh. They’re both 21. They both were in LA. She’s in Las Vegas right now. She works with her friend who is a manager. They both have brown hair and is kinda tall and they both hate ‘NSync.” Brian said as he looked at Kevin, “You knew.”

“I’m not saying a word.” Kevin said as he walked over, sitting down in a chair, “I’m just going to sit by and watch all of this unravel infront of Nick’s face. I just sit by and not say a word.”

“You mean the girl Nick is talking to online is really Kelsey Baker?” Kristin asked as Kevin busted out laughing.

“Kevin, tell me what you know.” Brian said as Kevin shook his head laughing at him.

“Damn.” Nick thought as he stood there in the middle of the hallway, looking at Kelsey’s door when another door opened and Nick looked down at it to see David walked out, “Fuck.”

“Nick.” David said as he started laughing, “Waiting on a friend again?”

“Uh, yeah. Brian’s in Kevin’s room there and I’m waiting on him.” Nick said, “What are you doing on this floor?”

“Kelsey’s suite.” David said while pointing at it.

“Is she following us?” Nick asked as he started to laugh.

“Honestly, I really don’t know what to believe. Wanna come in? I’m sure she’s awake.” David said as Nick looked around.

“Um.” Nick said as he looked around, “I’m waiting for Bri..”

“Oh forget about Brian. Come on in.” David said as Nick pressed his lips together and looked back over at the door.

“Okay.” Nick said as he took a deep breath and David looked like he wanted to laugh as he walked up to the door, knocking on it.

“Who was that?” Nick asked as David looked back at him.

“Oh Rachel. Kelsey’s manager.” David said as Rachel opened the door and David did a big cheesy smile at her as he walked in.

“What’s this? Hi Nick.” Rachel said as she looked over at David.

“Found a lost puppy outside.” David said as Nick walked in a little and looked around, “Where’s Kelsey?”

“She went to bed. She’s tired from rehearsing today.” Rachel said as she looked over at Nick, “Damn, sorry. Everytime you come to say hi, she’s asleep.”

“She sleep alot?” Nick asked as Rachel and David started to laugh.

“Not really. She’s just been working alot lately.” Rachel said.

“Yeah, I know how that is.” Nick said, “I was outside waiting on Brian to come out of Kev’s room because he was talking to him and Kristin and uh David came out there.”

“This is interesting. We’re all acquainted but you’re yet to meet Kelsey really.” Rachel said as David shook his head and sat down.

“Yeah, whack huh?” Nick said as he laughed nervously, “Well I’m sure we’ll meet tomorrow night though.”

“Oh I’m sure. Are you going to the after parties?” Rachel asked.

“I suppose so. I have no idea what I’m doing.” Nick said, “Are you guys?”

“I think we’re going to one. We were invited to several. I tell ya what. I’ll let you know tomorrow night at the awards sometime which one we’re going to.” Rachel said, “Deal?”

“Okay. Sweet.” Nick said, “Well I better..” as Rachel interrupted him.

“Can I ask you a question?” Rachel asked as Nick looked at her strangely.

“Sure I guess.”

“Why were you peeking at Kelsey this morning on the airplane?” Rachel asked as David started to laugh.

“I uh, um, well.” Nick started to say as he stopped, “I don’t know. I really don’t. I’m a moron.”

“Well she was doing that to you too some.” Rachel said as Nick looked at her.

“Really?” Nick asked.

“Yes, I really don’t understand you two. You should just meet say hello how are you doing and be done with it.” Rachel said, “You don’t bite. She doesn’t bite. I don’t know what the deal is.”

“Me either.”

“You must.”

“I don’t know.” Nick said, “Something about her. Wait - why am I telling you this? I don’t know you.”

“I know Kelsey.” Rachel said.

“Very well.” David added in.

“Thanks Dave.”

“No problem.”

“Yeah you know her, which in return you could go tell her about me saying this.” Nick said.

“I didn’t tell her about you coming over that night in LA.” Rachel said.

“You didn’t?”

“Nope. Now what do you mean there’s something about her?” Rachel asked as Nick looked around, “Come on over and have a seat.”

“Alright.” Nick said as him and Rachel walked over to sit down.

“Now tell me what it is.” Rachel said as Nick sunk down in the chair and looked around.

“I can probably tell you better than the other guys because I don’t know you and you can’t really judge me because you don’t know me.” Nick said as Rachel nodded her head, agreeing with him, “But I saw her video and something hit me. I don’t know what it was and yo I never watch CMT. I was just flipping by and I saw her video.”

“Let Me Love You?” David asked.

“Yeah, the one on the beach.” Nick said, “It caught my attention so I kinda researched her and she seems really nice and I don’t know. Then-”

“Then what?” Rachel asked.

“I saw this ad in the paper.”

“What kind of ad?” Rachel asked as Nick looked over at her.

“A personal ad. And I answered it. It’s this girl and her name is Leigh and she’s so damn sweet and I like her and we’re going to meet but I have this damn thing for Kelsey and yo I’m whack.” Nick said as Rachel sat there in shock, looking at him while David elbowed Rachel and she elbowed him back, “What?”
