Nick opened up his laptop, waiting for the internet connection, wondering if Leigh had e-mailed him back. He was starting to worry about her, but maybe she was really just busy. He logged onto his e-mail, closing his eyes and peeking them open to see 1 new message.

“Oh let it be from her.” Nick thought as he clicked on his inbox to see Princess Grace and he smiled, click on it and began to read it.

“She can keep begging if she wants to.” Nick thought as he started to laugh and began to e-mail her back when his cell phone rung and he reached over answering it.

“Hello?”

“Dude, come down to the casino with me.” AJ said, “D won’t come. He’s a wuss.”

“Fine, gimme about 10 minutes.” Nick said as he hung up and finished typing the letter.

“Is there anyway possible that I can change what song I’m going to sing?” Kelsey asked as she looked over at Rachel while sitting in their suite.

“No there’s not any way possible.” Rachel said as Kelsey rolled her eyes, “You need to sing your current single. Why? What do you want to do? The new song?”

“No.” Kelsey said as she looked over at her, “I wanted to do something else.”

“What?”

“Either I Always Liked That Best or I’m Not Suppose To Love You Anymore.” Kelsey said as Rachel looked over at her.

“They weren’t singles.” Rachel said.

“So?” Kelsey said, “I’m the one that has to sing it.”

“Yeah well you’re not the one that decides that.” Rachel said as Kelsey got up from the chair and walked over to the door, looking out of the peep hole.

“I’m going out.” Kelsey said as she unlocked the door.

“Lemme call David.”

“I’m fine.” Kelsey said as she walked out of her suite and looked down the hall to see Nick and AJ getting on the elevator, “Damn.”

“Watcha damning about there?” a voice said as Kelsey turned around to see Kevin standing there laughing.

“Oh hi.” Kelsey said, “Ugh, my manager. What’s up?”

“Same floor again? Are you stalking us?” Kevin asked as Kelsey started laughing.

“No, I had no idea you guys were even staying in this hotel.” Kelsey said, “Until I just saw Nick and AJ getting onto the elevator.”

“Yeah, Nick’s suite is right beside yours.” Kevin said, pointing at Nick’s door and Kelsey looked at it.

“Really? Again?” asked Kelsey as she laughed a little, “What a coiencidence?”

“Yeah really.” Kevin said as he smiled a little, “Funny how things work out sometimes isn’t it?”

“Yeah it is.” Kelsey said as she smiled, “So what award are you guys presenting?”

“I believe it’s Country Male. It’s not female though. Sorry.” Kevin whispered as Kelsey laughed a little, “I think ‘N Sync is doing that.”

“Great.” Kelsey said as she crossed her arms, “I hate them.”

“I’m not too fond of them myself.” Kevin said, “So you got a date?”

“Awards? Nope. Just Rachel, my manager and David my guard who is nothing but a pain in the ass.” Kelsey said as Kevin laughed a little.

“Well I better get back to my room, I heard Nick and AJ out here and then I saw you come out.” Kevin said, “I guess we’ll see you tomorrow.”

“You bet.” Kelsey said as she smiled, watching Kevin go back in his room.

“So I’m gonna go out with this Leigh chick.” Nick said as him and AJ were walking through the casino and AJ stopped, grabbing Nick’s arm and looked at him.

“Seriously?”

“Uh yeah. We’re gonna go out to dinner the 16th.” Nick said as AJ busted out laughing, “What?”

“Dude you’ve gone whack man.” AJ said, “You’ve absolutely gone damn whack.”

“Am not.” Nick said as he sat down at a table.

“Yes hell you have.” AJ said as he sat down and pointed over at him, “You’ve got this Leigh chick you’re gonna hook up with online and fuck if you meet her I loose the bet you dumbass.”

“And..” Nick said as he smiled.

“And then you’re all goo goo and giggly over this country girl.” AJ said, “Make yo mind up my man.”

“I’m making up my mind man.” Nick said, “I’m going to go out with Leigh. Please, like something was gonna happen with this Kelsey girl.”

“Yeah right.”

“Dude, I can’t bring myself to meet her. I don’t know why. So like, you know, I’m not gonna worry about it.” Nick said, “I’m gonna meet Leigh. That’s the end of it.”

“Yeah right.”

“It is.”

“Yeah right.” AJ said as Nick picked up a spoon at the table and threw it at AJ.

Later that afternoon after a interview, Kelsey had to go to where the awards were being held to rehearse for her performance. They went through it about 4 times and each time the run through went great, which meant she still had to go over it one more time, the next day which was the day of the awards.

“I’m tired of rehearsing.” Kelsey said as her and Rachel walked into the suite that night around 9, “I’m so tired.”

“Go to bed.” Rachel said as Kelsey rolled her eyes.

“No, I’m gonna go get online for a little bit. Maybe Nicholas is on.

“Fine, go go.” Rachel said as Kelsey smiled, walking into her bedroom. She pulled her laptop out of her bag, turning it on and began to connect online. She sat there looking around the room until the internet connected and she opened up her messager to see nobody online.

“Well damn.” Kelsey thought as logged into her e-mail to see 1 new message. She smiled when she saw it was from him, and clicked on it to read it.

“Awww damn. Where’s that boy at?” Kelsey thought as she laughed and went to go check the news.

“Dude, you lost your ass.” Nick said as him, AJ, and Brian walked out of the elevator about that same time.

“I did not.” AJ said, “I lost $100. Damn. It’s not like I lost $500 like someone else.” as he looked over at Brian.

“Shut up Alex.” Brian said, “I’m warning you.”

“Ohhh warn me.” AJ said as he laughed, “You lost $500. You can play black jack for shit yo.”

“Slots either. I mean you pull that thingy and you can’t do that right.” Nick said as AJ walked up to his suite door.

“Ya’ll are whack. I need my beauty sleep.” AJ said as he walked into his suite, shutting the door.

“So whatcha gonna do?” Brian asked as Nick looked around, “Get online?”

“Probably.” Nick said as he started to smile a little, “Leigh said she’d be on there, on chat tonight.”

“Ohhh..” Brian said as he looked suprised.

“Wanna watch? You can see how whack she is.” Nick said as Brian smiled.

“Sure.” Brian said as Nick smiled and started to unlock his door.

“Hmmm… dude nothing is going on in the Backstreet world.” Kelsey said as she sat there, browsing the message board, looking at post, “Half this shit is off topic.”

She stopped looking and looked around a minute before she started laughing.

“Why the hell am I looking. I know Kevin.” Kelsey thought to herself as she started to laugh, “And Nick’s scared of me. What a life.”

She sat there browsing the board again, laughing at some of the stupid post that people made when she looked in the corner to see Nicholas come online and she smiled, bringing up her messanger, clicking on his name and sent him a message.

Kelsey: HEY WHAT’S UP?!?!

Kelsey: damn sorry I yelled lol

Nick: uh hey, it’s okay don’t worry

Kelsey: oh okay good, so what’s up?

Nick: Nothing much you?

Kelsey: Nothing much, just ate some pizza and decided to lock myself up and get online and you were on

“This is nice?” Brian asked as Nick looked over at him.

“Dude shut up. Don’t comment on my speaking abilities.” Nick said as he looked back at his laptop.

“This is nice.” Brian said in a girlish voice as Nick reached over and hit him.

“Girls always arrive late. Trust me, Leighanne takes a hell of a lot more time to get ready than me.” Brian said as Nick looked over at him and back at the screen.

“Rachel!” Kelsey screamed as she hopped off of her bed and ran into the living room area of the suite.

“Damn what?” Rachel asked.

“Dude who all have I said ‘hi’ to today?” Kelsey asked as Rachel looked at strangely.

“Um alot of people.” Rachel said, “Especially at the hotels, why?”

“Dude, I met Nicholas, my dude. He said Kelsey said hi to him. He said he saw me walking down a street in LA.” Kelsey said as Rachel looked at her.

“You haven’t walked down a street, except like at the airport.” Rachel said, “Maybe he’s just saying he did.”

“Damn maybe.”

“Well maybe. I don’t know. I don’t think he’d lie about it.” Kelsey said, “Sad, I said hi to him and didn’t even know it was him.” as she walked back into her room and sat down.
