“Uh, it’s too early.” Kelsey said as she stood in the airport with her hair pulled up in pigtails, wearing a pair of sunglasses, a white longsleeved t-shirt and jean overalls.

“Uh shut up.” Rachel said as David laughed, looking back at everybody else with them who were practically asleep, sitting down.

“It’s 7:30 man. It’s too damn early.” Kelsey said as she crossed her arms and then fixed he strap on her backpack she had on.

“Well lookie there.” Rachel said as Kelsey looked over at her and then looked over where Rachel was looking to see AJ, Howie, and Kevin walk up with their guards, talking.

“Oh damn.” Kelsey said as she walked over behind David, putting her face into his back, “Hide me Dave.”

“Okay.” David said as he stepped away and Kelsey almost fell.

“David.” Kelsey said as she walked over to the side of the wall and leaned up against it as Kevin waved over at Rachel and she waved back, “Rachel don’t wave.”

“Good god Kelsey, what’s wrong with you woman?” Rachel asked as she laughed, looking over to see Brian, two guards and a really weird looking guy walk up.

“There she is.” Brian whispered as Nick tried to look over his sunglasses, “Dude you look stupid.”

“Leave me alone.” Nick said, “I’m in my disguise.”

“Disguise my ass.” Brian said, “She’s gonna see us four. She’s gonna know who you are.” as he shook his head, looking at Nick wearing a big fisherman’s hat, covering his eyes with a brown wig attached to it, and wearing a dark pair of sunglasses.

“Where’s she at?” Nick asked, tilting his glasses down a little looking around, seeing Kelsey leaning against the wall, “Oh god. She’s wearing pigtails?”

“Cute huh?” Brian asked as he started laughing.

“Dude. Dear god, let me sit far far away.” Nick said, “I feel bad. Here I am thinking this about her and damn I already planned a date with Leigh.”

“You did what?” Brian asked looking over at Nick who smiled at him.

“Uh the 16th, Leigh and I are gonna meet and go to this fancy resturaunt to have burger and fries. I’m going to wear a suit.” Nick whispered as Brian cracked up laughing.

“You are one weird ma - wait, make that boy.” Brian said as Nick cut his eyes over at him, “Alright man. Fine you’re a man. Just a really weird one.”

“Shut up.” Nick said as he looked back over at Kelsey.

“Kelsey.” Rachel said as she walked over beside her.

“Yeah?” Kelsey asked as she lifted her head off of the wall.

“Is that Nick with that weird looking hat on with Brian?” Rachel asked as Kelsey looked up, taking her sunglasses off looking over there.

“Dude it is.” Kelsey said as she started to laugh a little, “What the hell?”

“I have no idea.” Rachel said laughing.

“Shit, she’s looking over here.” Nick said as he took the glasses off and turned around.

“Take this stupid hat off.” Kevin said as he walked up to Nick, taking it off and then looked at it, “Act with a little comman sense.”

“This is my disguise yo.” Nick said as Kevin handed him the wig hat back, “Damn.”

“You see Kelsey Baker over there?” Kevin asked.

“Yes and she was laughing at him.” Brian said laughing as Kevin started to smile.

“She was laughing at me?” Nick asked as he looked over at her and ran his fingers through is hair sticking it up a little.

“Oh good god.” Kelsey said as she turned around and walked away. Rachel stood there looking confused and walked over to Kelsey.

“What?” Rachel asked.

“Nick looked dead over here at me and started running his fingers through his hair, making it stick up.” Kelsey said, “That ain’t right.”

“That’s deadly.” Rachel said as she heard their flight being called over the intercom, “Oh that’s us.”

“Damn.” Kelsey said as she stood straight up, looking back over at Nick, Brian, and Kevin while Rachel went and told everybody else to wake up.

“Dude, let’s let them go in first.” Nick said as he pulled on Kevin and Brian’s arms and they stood there looking at him.

“Dude.” AJ said as him and Howie walked up to him, “That’s the Kelsey chick?”

“That one would be her.” Brian said laughing.

“Good lord Carter.” AJ said as he patted him on the shoulder, “No wonder you’ve been fucked up in the head.”

“Oh god.” Nick said as he rolled his eyes.

“Well if you don’t talk to her.” AJ said as he cleared his throat, “I will.”

“Hit on her and you die McLean.” Nick warned him as AJ looked in shock.

“Whoa, steady boy.” Kevin said as he patted Nick on the cheek, “Come on now, they’ve all gone in. Let’s go take our seats.”

“Alright.” Nick said as he walked behind them going up to the terminal.

“Maybe I can get a few minutes rest.” Kelsey said as she sat down in her seat, putting on her seatbelt.

“Kelsey, you’re still gonna get that tattoo in Las Vegas?” Samantha asked from the seat infront of her as Rachel looked over at Kelsey.

“Um Sam.” Kelsey said as Rachel looked at Samantha and back at Kelsey, “Damn.”

“Kelsey.” Rachel said.

“I was wanting to go to a tattoo place just to see some designs.” Kelsey said, “That’s all.”

“Damn tattoos.” Rachel muttered as Kelsey smiled over at her and then layed her head against the window.

“There’s your seats gentlemen.” the stewertess said as Nick looked around the plane while scooting over and taking the seat next to the window and Brian sat down next to him with, in the middle, and a guard on the other side.

“You see her?” Nick whispered as Brian sat there with a smirk on his face and looked over at Nick, “What?”

Brian just motioned his head forward and Nick looked at him with a confused look.

“What?” Nick whispered.

Brian pointed to the seats infront of him and he sat up a little looking over the seats. His eyes went wide when he saw Kelsey sitting in the seat infront of him.

“Fuck.” Nick mouthed as he ducked down in the seat, putting his hand over his face.

“Relax Nick.” Brian whispered as Nick peeked out at him and then put his head against the window, looking to see Kelsey’s head laying against her window. He sat there looking at her until he heard someone calling his name.

“Sir, fasten your seatbelt.” the stewertess said as Nick jumped and put his seatbelt on and looked over at Brian who was shaking his head at him.

“Don’t start trippin’” Nick whispered as Brian smiled.

“Not saying a word.” Brian said as Nick looked around.

“Where’s the others?” Nick asked as he looked behind them to see Kevin, Howie, and AJ way in the back of the plane, “Damn why are they way back there? Why couldn’t that have been my luck?”

“Because - you are a bad bad man Mr. Carter.” Brian said as Nick looked over at Brian giving him a dirty look. He leaned his head back up against the window looking at Kelsey. He stayed like that while the plane took off and continued like that until he looked over to see Rachel looking back at him.

“Shit.” Nick thought as he gave her a little wave and she smiled back.

“She’s asleep.” Rachel whispered as Nick mouthed ‘oh’ and smiled back looking over to see what Brian was reading and then looked back up at Rachel, putting his finger of his mouth, telling her to keep quiet. Rachel nodded her head and turned back around in her seat, leaning over to David who was looking at a newspaper.

“So yeah, Carter’s got a crush on her.” Rachel whispered as David gave a little laugh, not even moving his eyes from the paper.

A little while later, Kelsey woke up to the sounds of the announcements on the plane, telling the passangers that they were about to land in Las Vegas. She sat there, sitting up and looked around until she looked back to see Nick and Brian sitting behind her. She turned around quickly, reaching over and hitting Rachel on the arm.

“Damn child.” Rachel said as she jumped, “I was almost asleep.”

“He’s behind us.” Kelsey whispered as Rachel started to laugh.

“I know that.” Rachel said as she smiled.

“Good god.” Kelsey said as she looked out the window and started to peek through the little space between the seat and the window at Nick.

“Kelsey, what are you doing?” Rachel asked as Kelsey jumped and looked at her.

“Nothing.” Kelsey said as she at there looking around while Rachel sat there smiling.

“When they get up, she’s gonna see us.” Nick whispered over to Brian after the plane landed.

“Nick, are you gonna be alright or do you want to duck down in the floor?” Brian asked as Nick looked over at him.

“That’s not a bad idea.” Nick said as the voice came on over the intercom telling everybody they could now get up and exit the plane, “Shit.”

“Damn boy.” Brian said as he shook his head, “Just sit here. Don’t get up.”

“Fine.” Nick said as he sat there looking out the window as he saw Rachel and David stand up in the seats in front of them and finally Kelsey stood up, putting her backpack. She turned around and looked over at Brian and then at Nick and smiled.

“Hey Kelsey.” Brian said as he smiled and waved.

“Hey.” Kelsey said as she smiled and looked over at Nick, “Hi.”

“Hey.” Nick said as he smiled a little and looked back out the window.

“Kelsey, you coming?” David asked as Kelsey jumped as she walked out from her row and started to exit the plane.

“Good god I’m not okay.” Nick said as he continued to look out the plane as Brian stood up laughing at him.

“Come on Nick.” Brian said as he started to tug on his arm and Nick stood up, rolling his eyes.

“Kelsey, you okay?” Rachel asked as they were walking out of the terminal and headed for their transportation to the hotel.

“He said ‘hi’ and smiled at me.” Kelsey said as Rachel shook her head, laughing at her, “He looked like he was half awake and looked so cute.”

“Oh god.” Rachel said as she started imitating her, “He’s just so dreamy!”

“Not dreamy.” Kelsey said as she laughed, “He had that whole half asleep / half awake thing going on and it was so sexy.”

“Oh spare me!” Rachel said as she looked away and Kelsey smiled.

“God, I hope we’re not in the same hotel this time.” Nick said as they were getting in their van to go to their hotel shortly after they got off of the plane and made their way throught the airport.

“Eeeeh.. I think alot of the same artist stay in the same hotel. I seriously doubt we’ll be on the same floor.” Brian said as AJ sat up in the seat infront of Nick.

“I dunno.” Nick whispered as he looked over at him, “Pretty freaky that the past two times we have been.”

“What? Think it’s fate fucking with you?” Brian asked as AJ turned around in his seat, looking at Nick.

“Carter.”

“Oh no.”

“I saw your girl.” AJ said as Nick closed his eyes, opening them back up and looked at AJ.

“And?”

“Dude, she sat in front of you. I saw her say hi.” AJ said.

“Yeah.” Nick said, “So?”

“She’s really cute in person.” AJ said.

“And I told you -”

“Blah blah blah little man.” AJ said as he pointed at him, “You don’t have to worry about that. Those innocent types. They aren’t my style.”

“They always say it’s the innocent ones you’ve gotta worry about.” Howie said as he looked back at Nick who looked in shock.

“Exactly why I don’t go for them. The bad girls are always the good, innocent ones.” AJ said, “But - ” he started to say as Nick interrupted him.

“I am NOT thinking about her that way.” Nick said as he looked at AJ, “I haven’t.”

“Nick, aren’t you the one that said you liked her video because she was barely wearing any clothes in it?” Brian asked as the others started laughing.

“I said I liked her video. You said ‘But Nick, she’s barely wearing any clothes in it.’ and then I said ‘Like I said, I like her video.’ I never once that I liked seeing her half dressed.” Nick said as he looked at Brian.

“Okay true, that is what was said.” Brian said as Nick smiled, “Doesn’t mean you don’t like it.”

“Fine, okay I admit it. She looks nice like that but damn if the overalls and pigtails weren’t nice together either.” Nick said as AJ busted out laughing. Kevin just sat in the front seat, shaking his head and laughing at them.

“Well.” Rachel said, “10th floor of the MGM Grand. Suite 1103. Who would have thought?” as she looked over at Rachel, “This time last year we were lucky if we could stay in a Ramada Inn.”

“Damn.” Kelsey said as she looked around, “This place is so fancy. I’m afraid I’m gonna break something.”

“That’s a sign that you don’t touch nothing.” David said as Kelsey looked back at him while the bellhop was bringing their luggage on a big cart behind them.

“Think she’s staying in this hotel?” Nick asked as Brian stood there laughing, looking at his key.

“Probably.” Brian said as Nick looked at his, “I’m on the 10th floor. Suite 1105. What’s yours?”

“10th floor, suite 1104.” Nick said, “Atleast we’re next door. I get a suite this time. Sweeeet.” Nick said laughing as they walked over to the elevator, “When’s Leighanne coming?”

“Later this afternoon. When are you gonna talk to your Leigh again?” Brian asked.

“I’ll go check my mail when I get in my roo - I mean suite.” Nick said as he smiled.
