Chapter Sixteen - Can You Imagine?

”What?” Nick asked as he turned around, looking at her, “What did you just say? That I did before? I did what before?”

”Nothing,” Caraline said as she put her hands over her face and leaned her head up against the wall, “Nothing, just forgot I said anything,”

”No,” Nick said as he walked over closer to her, but giving her a little distance, “I want to know what you’re talking about. Am I the guy that…”

”February 27, 2002,” Caraline said as she took a deep breath, “The Grammy Awards. It was my first real awards show with Faith and I designed her outfit for it and so I went with her and Tim,”

”Caraline..” Nick whispered as Caraline looked over her shoulder at him and then turned around, leaning against the wall, “What are you trying to say?”

”Audrey was just a baby so they went back to the hotel as soon as the awards were over, but Faith gave me her passes to go to the after party’s because I wanted to. It was like my mission to meet Eminem,”

”Uh huh,”

”And I drunk a little bit and I’m not much of a drinker, and I met you,” Caraline said as Nick closed his eyes and looked away, “And I really don’t know what happened but I went back to your hotel room. You were in the same hotel as us and we slept together,”

”Shit,”

”And you fell asleep for thirty minutes maybe and woke up and asked who I was and it freaked me out and as soon as you fell back asleep I got dressed and I left and I never planned on seeing you again,” Caraline said as she started crying, “Now you know why I’m scared and why I am like I am with the groupie talk,”

”Oh man,” Nick said as he put his hands over his face and looked at her, “I don’t know what to say. I’m so damn sorry,”

”You don’t even remember me do you?” Caraline asked as Nick closed his eyes, looking away, “You don’t,”

”No,” Nick whispered as he looked at her, “I’m so sorry Caraline. I didn’t know it was me. You kept saying that stuff and I don’t know. I kept thinking it was Justin Timberlake or some shit because, you know, that’d be my luck. I never thought it was me,”

”It was you,” Caraline said as she looked down at the ground, “I felt so used and just trashy after that happened. I don’t know, just, I don’t know,” she said as she looked up at him, “I mean I knew it was a one night stand you know? But I was drunk and I was willing, but when you woke up not knowing who I was it just freaked me out a little and, that’s why I kept saying those things about you, and the groupies,”

”You’re not a groupie,” Nick said as he rubbed his hands over his face, rubbing his eyes, trying not to get upset, “I was really messed up during that time. That was a horrible fucking day for me. The group almost broke up over an argument but we had to go to the awards together,” he said as he looked at Caraline, “I swear to God, I never meant to hurt you,”

”You didn’t really hurt me,” Caraline said as she pressed her lips together and looked away, before looking back at him, “Just, I felt used, you know?”

”I know,” Nick said as he walked up closer to her, putting his hands on her arms, staring her in the eyes, “And I’m so sorry. I never knew it was me that you were talking about, really, just, I was really messed up during that time. I had gotten arrested and just it was a bad time for me,”

”Yeah,” Caraline said as she looked away and Nick moved his finger under her chin, making her look him in the eyes again.

”But if I was going to forget about you, would I tracked your mother down in Star and got the name of the place you were, and fly all the way here and surprise you?” Nick asked as Caraline smiled a little, “I wouldn’t have wasted my time, but I’m not wasting my time. I wanted to know why you left,”

”I was scared,”

”There’s no need to be scared anymore baby. I’m never going to forget you,” Nick whispered as they looked into each others eyes. They moved their heads closer to each other, closing their eyes slowly as they rubbed their noses together gently before their lips touched. Nick moved his right hand up to the side of her face, barely rubbing his thumb across her cheek as he took her mouth into his.

She smiled against her lips as she moved her arms, pushing her unbuttoned shirt off again, letting it drop to the floor. She moved her hands down to, moving them up under his t-shirt, running her fingertips up his skin as she started to pull it up. He broke away from the kiss, sucking on her lips as he finished taking the shirt off, and threw it on the other side of the room.

Caraline smiled at him as she leaned up, closing her eyes again as they leaned in to kiss again. Nick moved his hands down to her hips, moving his fingertips inside of her shorts and panties, touching her skin when she began kissing down his jaw line and to his neck. Nick leaned his head back , feeling her kissing him along his neck, sucking on his collarbone gently. She moved her lips across his chest, moving her mouth over his nipples, moving his nipple ring with her tongue, causing him to moan a little. She smiled against his skin, kissing her way down his stomach as she moved her fingertips down his sides slowly, almost tickling him.

Nick pressed his lips together, looking down at Caraline as she moved her lips to his hips, right where his jeans started and began to lick across it, while her right hand as unbuttoning his jeans. She started to unzip them and moved her fingertips into his boxer briefs and began pulling them down slowly as she sucking on his pelvic bone, almost causing him to loose self control already. She started to move her fingertips back up his sides, causing him to lift his arms in the air until she stood up, facing him and they entwined their fingers together.

They smiled at one another as Nick leaned over, kissing her deeply as he brought their hands down to her shorts. They both began to push her shorts and panties down to the ground as he let go of her hands, running them back up her body and to her back. He began to unfasten her bra and moved his lips away from hers, moving them down to her shoulders, pushing the straps down with his teeth until it fell down her arms and she threw it down on the floor.

She smiled, biting her bottom lip as she wrapped her arms around Nick’s neck. He smiled, moving his hands down to her hips, lifted her up off of the ground. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he walked over a few steps, moving them onto the bed. She moved her legs from around his waist as he hovered over her and they both smiled, leaning in to kiss each other slowly.

He moved his hands down to her hips slowly, massaging her skin as he moved his lips down to her neck, sucking on it. He moved his lips to her chest as he moved his hand in between her legs, touching her softly and then looked back up at her. He moved his lips back up to hers, kissing her slowly as he began to position himself better. He stopped kissing her, and held their heads together, looking into one another’s eyes as he entered her slowly, and saw her smiling at him. He smiled back at her as she moved her arms around him, running her fingertips down his back slowly as he started to make love to her slowly.

She moved her lips back to his, taking his mouth into hers and sucking on his tongue as she moved her fingers to his neck, running them through his hair slowly. He continued to keep up his pace slowly, almost so slowly that she was moving her hips up to meet his because she needed more. He just smiled against her lips as he kissed her because he knew she couldn’t stand for him to move so painfully slow.

”Nick,” Caraline whispered against his lips as he started to kiss around her jaw line as he moved inside of her, “Why are you moving so slowly?”

”I wanna cherish the moment,” Nick whispered as he bit as her skin a little, “We’ve got all night,” he said as he kissed up her neck, to her chin until he met her lips again.

Caraline smiled against his lips, kissing him back deeply as Nick moved his right hand to her left, entwining their fingers together as he picked up his pace just a little. Caraline sighed from relief when he did that. She started to move her hips up against his again and he smiled, moving his right hand away from hers. He moved it down to her hip, holding onto it and pushed her against him once as he moved into her, causing her to moan out loud – really loudly in fact.

She smiled, moving her hands to his chest, and pushed him over onto the bed, so that he was laying on his back and she moved on top of him, letting him enter her again. She began to move back and forth on top of him, until she moved around in a circular motion, making his eyes roll back in his head. He moved his hands up to her hips, holding onto her until she moved them, and pushed their hands together, entwining their fingers together again. She leaned down kissing him as she moved down on him harder, causing him to moan. He almost couldn’t take it anymore.

He moved his hands from hers, and wrapped his arms around her, rolling them back over so that he was on top of her. She giggled a little until he moved back into her and she moaned out loud again. He leaned down, kissing her softly on her lips, hoping to keep her a little quiet. He didn’t know what room everybody else was in and was afraid that maybe their kids would hear them.

Caraline moved her hands back around him again, moving her lips to his neck, sucking on it slowly as Nick buried his face in the crook of her neck, breathing heavily as he picked up his pace a little. He started to kiss along her shoulders as she did the same to him until their lips met again and they kissed passionately. Their bodies were starting to stick to one another from all the sweat that they were working up.

They stopped kissing for a second and smiled at one another. Caraline moved her right hand up, pushing his hair off of his forehead because it was wet from all of the sweat. She moved her right leg around his waist as he leaned back down kissing her deeply again. She began to move her hips up against his again as he moved into her. It was almost as if they couldn’t get enough of one another.

Caraline moved her left hand down to his nipple, pulling at his nipple ring gently causing him to moan into his mouth and he moved into her harder, causing her to moan into his. Nick moved his lips away from hers, sucking on them slowly as he opened his eyes, looking at her again. He moved into her again, causing her to smile at him as she bit down on her bottom lip again. He moved his right hand up to her left, entwining their fingers together again as he picked his pace up more, watching her as he moved into her again and again.

She started moving her hips up to meet his and he knew that she was almost there. He knew he was there but he was holding back for her. He moved his lips down to hers again as he kept that pace up, kissing her lips gently and then held their heads together, looking into each other’s eyes. They continued looking into each other’s eyes until he knew she felt her release and he couldn’t hold his back any longer. He slowed down his pace, watching her as she caught her breath and moved his left hand up, moving a strand of wet hair out of her face.

She opened her eyes, smiling at him and they both leaned in to kiss one another so slowly that if someone was watching, they would think it was in slow motion. She moved her hands back up to his neck, running them through his wet hair again as they moved their lips from one another. Nick moved his lips to her neck, kissing down it with butterfly kisses, before resting his face in the crook of her neck, smiling as she did the same thing. They didn’t even have to say anything. They knew what the other one was thinking.
