My Backstreet FAQ
How did I become a fan?
I saw Backstreet Boys at Grad Nite my senior year of high school and became a fan.
Who is my favorite Backstreet Boy?
Honestly, them all, but as you can tell with my stories, there’s always has been a soft spot for Nick. He’s the one I have the best memories of. Alex would be my second favorite. He and I have a lot in common and I’ve been through a lot of the same stuff as he has.
What is your favorite song?
“You Can Let Go” is my favorite of theirs… it hits home with me. My other favorites include “Shape of My Heart,” “The One,” “Bigger,” “Undone,” “Answer To Our Lives,” and “Don’t Wanna Lose You Now.” Out of the songs that didn’t make the albums, “Last Night You Saved My Life” and “Helpless” are my favorites.
What is your favorite Nick solo song?
Duh, “My Confession.” Honestly, I like the entire album for several reasons. It’s just Nick and I love his voice. I relate to almost every song on there. In fact, I’m listening to it as I update this page on June 26, 2010. I could give you a reason why I love every song, except “Miss America.” Not one of my faves, but he does sound very nice on it.
What is your favorite Backstreet Boys memory?
Before seeing them in my hometown where I’m a concert photographer, I would have said when I told Nick to stop stalking me and he called me sexy. Don’t ask, that whole weekend was awesome. But, it would have to be June 5, 2010 now. My four favorite guys, front row center seats, some of my best friends and Nick asking me “Do you want this?” all seductively and giving me his rose. Then giggling at me. Being backstage with him and all of that. Great. Fucking. Day.
Who says working your ass off in college doesn’t pay off in the end? Nick always somehow giggles at me and I have no idea why.
What is your favorite story that you have written and why?
It’s hard to say but I think “I Wanna Be Bad” that I co-wrote with someone and “The Trouble With Love” are my favorites. “I Wanna Be Bad” for several personal reasons and because it’s just epic. That was the first real story that I was proud of. “The Trouble With Love” is a favorite of mine because of the theme of the story – two people with nothing in common but one little girl coming together. Plus the fact that Savannah wasn’t your typical female lead character in a fan fiction. I loved that.
Out of my new stuff, I would say “Superstar” is my favorite because as a concert photographer myself, shooting those guys night after night while I got to experience this year when I saw them three times in less than a week is really hard work. Taylor Daughtry has my up most respect, well if she was a real person that is lol
