Quality Entertainment

Don’t you think crazy fans are good entertainment? The ones who are extremely paranoid thinking that everything is about them? The ones who threaten you and claim you make fake twitter accounts to hate on them while you’re fast asleep, sick in bed?

I know that I’ve been involved in a lot of drama over my years as a fan, especially the last few years thanks to the great technology that is Twitter. Twitter has brought a lot of things to me – fun times, great friends, and yes, even drama.

I like to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes people can come off as “crazy” on Twitter, but be completely normal in person. Sometimes they can come off as normal on Twitter and be totally crazy in person. I’ve experienced both.

Even with someone I don’t like and haven’t years to being acquaintances on message boards, I always try to give that person the benefit of the doubt. I’ve done this recently.

I’ve pretty much learned NOT to do this again.

Even those who don’t like me will tell you that if I have a problem with you, I will either a.) e-mail you, text you, call you, DM you, or tweet you. Never have I created a fake twitter account to bash someone because a.) it’s time consuming and b.) completely stupid.

Here’s a few good tips to handling this fandom.

1. Don’t threaten people when you have no proof they’ve done anything, especially when they are innocent. It’s not cool and plus, you can get in trouble for slander and defamation.

2. Think about how you come off online on your online profiles. I know I come off as a bitch. Guess what, I am one. I don’t let anybody run over me. Your bio on your social media profiles tells the tale.

3. Don’t complain about people breaking in line when YOU have done this yourself.

4. Know what the hell you’re talking about before you go off and commit a crime, threatening someone for untrue circumstances.

I’m done with trying to be nice to people in this fandom. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, more than likely, it’s a duck.

Same with some fans.

Anybody that doesn’t like me can LITERALLY and PHYSICALLY go fuck themselves.

About Karah
I'm not your typical southern belle. I don't like peaches or sweat tea. I like dirty words and dirty jokes. I'm a '80 baby and I work in the media industry. I'm a sports lover. I like boys who drive fast cars and play the guitar. Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan and any 80's hair bands rock my world. I've been writing Backstreet Boys fan fiction since 1999, when I created what would become My Confession before Nicky's song ever came out. <3<3
