Head Over Heels

On top of hearing that the New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys tour is confirmed, Brett Favre is back with the Minnesota Vikings and I find out that Luke Bryan is doing a small Georgia tour next month!
First off, NKOTB/BSB tour…. I’m excited about it. New Kids on the Block were my first concert when I was in 4th grade. It would have been in 3rd grade but their show here was sold out before my Mom and Aunt could get my cousin and I tickets. A lot of BSB fans don’t like the idea, but I do. For one thing, it’s great publicity and with Backstreet Boys promoting a new album probably at the same time next year on a new label, it’s even better.
Secondly… my boy Brett Favre is officially back for one more year. I’m so happy, you have no idea. I tweeted Mr. Nick Carter about it and just a minute later, the bastard posts the same thing. I don’t understand how he can be a Brett Favre fan. In the 90′s, Tampa Bay, who he loves, and Green Bay had a huge rivalry. Battle of the Bays. And now all of a sudden Brett is Nick’s self-proclaimed man crush. Bandwagon fan or true fan? Hmmm.. either way, I’m proud to say that I’ve been a Favre fan for 17 of his 20 years and I’m damn proud!
Thirdly… Luke Bryan. He’s from South Georgia and I got to interview him a few years ago when he came here with Dierks Bentley. Luke was my very first celebrity interview. I’m so excited because not only is in it my town but also on a day I’m off (Tuesday). So yee haw! I’m hoping to get to interview him again and cover the concert for work.
I want to thank everybody for the feedback on “Turn Right” last night. I’m so glad that you guys are liking the story even though it’s NASCAR related. I was scared that would drive you guys away. As for “We Weren’t Crazy,” I tried to write on it last night. I wrote about a page in Word of Tara’s narration but I just couldn’t write anymore after that. I’m trying though, I promise I am! I won’t give up on it!
Tonight, I updated not only Turn Right with Chapter 13, called “Head Over Heels,” but I added a story I wrote in 2005. It’s called Destiny and you can find it up under Short Stories. It’s a story that I wrote for my Fiction Writing class in college. It’s not fan fiction, but just a regular short story.
I have some “Ask Karah” questions for the next update, so if you have any, let me know!
I’m not sure if I have read this “Destiny”. I will have to go take a look!! :)

Oh yes I cheered when I heard they would be doing a tour together. My number1 and number 2 favorites touring. Now that will be hot. As for your updates they are more than worth the wait. Keep up the awesome work.

Dude, I am so excited about this joint tour! I know a few NKOTB songs It’s gonna be a panty dropper lmao (Yes, I actually said what some ppl are thinking) I could just imagine married women leaving the husbamds at home with the kids. I bet there will be lots of grown women losing their minds(I mean that in a good way)
As for the Brett Favre debacle, I knew he was coming back when he had the surgery on his knee. He just want to keep everyone on pins and needles lol

It wasn’t that I disliked them or anything, but I wasn’t crazy into New Kids back in the day. It was more like I really enjoyed the few songs that I did know by them, but I really didn’t know much else about them. I don’t see why it would be a bad thing for them to have a joint tour.

im in australia and dont know where they would take the tour. im unemployed to it would have to be a miracle for me to get there but my face 2 bands touring together id have to find a way to see it

Thanks thanks for the update Karah :) As for the joint tour I’m not 100% for it but I’m not that upset over it either… I understand the exposure it would give the boys I’m just being selfish since I’ve been used to just seeing the guys themselves in concerts LOLZ

Well, NKOTB were my first boyband but I was too young when they came to my country and also I didn’t know they came until 2000 and they came in like 93′ or something hahaha..Sadly this tour it’s just in the US so I won’t have the oportunity to see them..

I’m not feeling the NKOTB/BSB tour but that may be because I wasn’t a huge NKOTB fan back in the day. Might have to look into some of their newer stuff and see what they’ve got. I wonder if they will take turns headlining. I just hope they don’t kill us with the ticket prices.

I’ve never had the chance to see NKOTB but I would love to. I’m soo deprived in Newfoundland. I’ve only seen BSB once and that was in 2008 (the first time they ever had a concert here)!! I wouldn’t be lucky enough for this tour….would I?

I am so freaking exciting that the boys (all 9 of them) are touring together. It is like a dream come true. My girls my age, don’t even know who they are and it makes me feel special that I do. I blame NKOTB for my obsession, love and lust for the Backstreet Boys.
I can’t wait. You and I, along with Tara, and I am sure a few others (:-)) will DEFINITELY have to go. I may just have to skip a NASCAR race to do so!

@Penni, Seriously, that’s what I was telling Jessie… NASCAR is always around, but this tour here is a once in a lifetime thing.
My Mama is all excited about it LMFAO! She said she has to go to at least one lol She loved her some NKOTB back in the day too.
After I pay my super speeder fine, which I’m saving up for b/c it’s due in November, I’m SO saving up for this!

Yay for BSB NKOTB! New Kids were my first concert too and I haven’t seen them since. I love their new stuff. I haven’t seen Backstreet since the Black and Blue tour. It’s time baby, it’s time! All the fan rivalry….whatever. This is epic!
You know my feelings on Brett Favre lol…..boo hiss! Green Baby and Chicago also have a big rivalry that goes waaaaay back lol. So if you’ve played for the Packers or are a Packer backer, I don’t like you LOL.
